The course is in phenomenal shape. Our front nine was very slow (we teed off 6 minutes late because they were already behind at 8:30 AM) but the marshall got onto the group in front of us and we were able to finish the back nine in under two hours. The green fees also came with unlimited snacks, a draft beer and lunch which was also really good. This might be the best value course in the metroplex given the conditions and all-inclusive pricing.

I have played golf at Woodbridge Golf Course for over 20 years, and the course itself is well designed and generally well maintained. That part has always been a positive. Unfortunately, there is one ongoing practice that has made my friends and me hesitant to return. Even when surrounding tee times consist of one or two players, our group of three is frequently forced to accept a fourth player we do not know. This happens repeatedly and feels unnecessary. It raises a simple question: why must our group always be made full, while others are not? For many Asian golfers, this is particularly uncomfortable. Culturally, we tend to be more reserved, especially when paired with strangers. Language barriers, communication style, and differences in physical build and driving distance make it difficult to relax and enjoy the round. Instead, the experience becomes tense and pressured. At times, it feels less like a casual game of golf and more like being put on display, which is not a welcoming feeling. Because of this, the overall experience at Woodbridge has unfortunately lost some of its appeal for Asian players, despite the quality of the course. I hope management will reconsider this pairing approach and allow existing groups to play comfortably when it is clearly possible. A more flexible policy would make the course feel more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

We are a group of seniors that play here regularly. Today the temperature was too cold for us to play. I called before 8am to cancel and was then charged a no show fee of over $200. My opinion is that this is no different than if it had rained. Gabriel, the manager, told me he had to do what is best for the business. I told him we would no longer play there and that would cost him about $10k a year. Which is better- absorbing the $200 or losing $10k in annual revenue? BTW- they sent out emails offering free lunch and beer if you booked selected tee times for today. Obviously they had plenty of tee times for players and didn't need my two times.

So sad, on pro walk the range night this old lady waited around asking everybody if there was actually going to be a pro that walked around. She did this for about a hour. She’s still probably there by the way. Felt really bad. Welcome to Caddy Shack 2. Also don’t be scared if you hear random construction noises. And definitely don’t sit on the bag stands. Got yelled at for that too.

Edited December 2024: We played again and had a much better experience. I wanted to edit to reflect this. WE used to love Woodbridge. There was a long period of time though where it felt like everything was going downhill including the restaurant. At this time, no one picks up when you call the golf course but the people are wonderful when you go in. The restrooms on the course still are for emergency use only LOL. Sometimes they are locked and sometimes they are not. Make sure to get the code before you leave. People do come to Woodbridge from all over to play. Sometimes the greens are good, sometimes they're not. The tee. Boxes are beautiful this time though. And the greens and the fairways were wonderful as well. I edited this review because things have improved since I first wrote it.
