I think one of the smartest things LWGC does is making the par 3 affordable and accessible for junior golfers. My son and I play every here every week specifically because of this. Its allowed him to learn to love the game and appreciate time spent on the course, which drives him wanting to play more rounds. Definitely got those hooks in him early! So, from a dad who loves to golf with his kid, thanks LWGC! Definitely earned our business.

Brought my own cart & was told I still had to pay a cart fee. Didn’t completely agree with that but no worries, every course has their own set of rules.. Greens had been sanded which I understand golf courses do, but this sand had pebbles all through out, & some even decent sized rocks about the size of a penny. Putting the ball was terrible because it would bounce & ricochet all over the green. 7 of the tee boxes were closed so we had to tee up from in front of the ladies tees on those holes, shortening the course quite a bit. All this for the normal rate of $57 is hard to believe. Probably won’t be back for a while.

Greens/fairways aren’t even close enough to the level they need to be for the playing fees charged. unfortunately much better options in Waco that don’t cost more but offer twice the quality…pretty easy decision to play my golf elsewhere. Staff at the bar seem like their customers are an obligation as well that almost made me leave a one or two star instead of three but feel like maybe that can be corrected

I golf here with my buddies almost 3 times a week, sometimes more. We love the people here who are welcoming, and kind. Living 5 mins away from the course makes it feel like home, but so does the friendly faces you encounter out here during every round. I have played in multiple scrambles and they are so much fun. At 5:30pm on Thursday’s, it gives people time to get from their jobs and come hang out with a group of 4 other people, and grow the game of golf! We love playing the scrambles! The golf course restaurant is a whole different story… the HOTDOGS are AMAZING. Making sure to bundle up your hot dog deal with tasty buttery buns, and a side of perfectly salted curly fries. They also have Golf Balls which are to die for. Jonesy is great as well, and I hear he offers lessons to help grow your game if needed. Ryan and Darren will take care of you up front. And Amber in the restaurant will also get you what you need. Please I beg you to give this place a chance so you can understand why we all love this place so much, and maybe it could be your next home course!

I played the par three course a few weeks ago and discovered that there is no signage that directs you from the greens to the next tee box! Basically you are on your own to find the next tee box after finishing a hole! Try as I might there were two holes where I simply could not find the next tee box! This would be so easy and cheap to remedy! Forget about the worm poop on the greens making it impossible to putt, rock hard fairways and about 50% grass coverage and you get a solid 2.5 out of 5 rating!
