There have been some ups and downs with this course over the last few years due to construction (which has nothing to do with the golf course just the resort) but things are really starting to look up. My husband and I were out yesterday and man was the course in great shape! We talked to some of the staff and they said they have a new super who really takes pride in his work and honestly it showed. While there is still construction going on, all of the course is back to working condition. The driving range is beautiful. The practice putting green gives you a level of difficulty to really get you ready for your round (I hate flat practice greens). The greens on the course were in GREAT condition along with the tee boxes and fairways. Overall it was a very enjoyable day of golf and we can’t wait to get back out there. I mean just look at it!

Showed up at 7:00am for our 8:00am tee time and paid $156.96 each expecting a true resort golf experience. At first, everything started great. Staff greeted us well, loaded our clubs, gave us range ball vouchers and starter tickets. No complaints there. Then reality hit. It’s 7:10am at a major Hyatt golf resort and there is absolutely NOTHING open until 10:00am. No coffee. No breakfast. No halfway house. Nothing. Honestly… how do you charge resort-level prices and not have a place open to grab a taco and a coffee before an early tee time? We tee off at 8:00am and by Hole 2 we get weathered out. We sat in the clubhouse for almost THREE HOURS and not once did anyone: • give updates, • offer water, • offer coffee, • mention food options, • or even acknowledge customers sitting there waiting. Eventually we wandered downstairs ourselves and found the cart girl sitting in coverage. She was awesome, but nobody directed us there. We had to find her ourselves. Drinks were $15 each, $30 doubles… which at that point honestly felt like the least of the problems. Finally got back out around 10:45am. Course conditions were excellent and the golf itself was great. But operationally, this place is a mess. We booked 36 holes, so pace mattered. Didn’t stop at the turn because we were told the beverage cart would be around. By Hole 14 of the first round we hadn’t seen her again. Called the pro shop and were told “she’s on the way.” She never showed up. Finished all 18 without seeing a beverage cart once. Stopped for lunch between rounds and the lounge waitress was fantastic. Replay rate at $60 was fair too. Second 18? Same issue. Saw the beverage cart ONCE. Then at 7:35pm, with plenty of daylight left and us on Hole 16, we got a 10-minute warning to return the carts. They actually sent two young employees out to tell us to come in while we were putting on 17. That wasn’t fair to those kids because management put them in that position. We finished 18 anyway and even helped clean carts afterward. Here’s the breakdown: Golf Course: Excellent shape Staff Overall: Friendly people trying their best Lounge Waitress: Outstanding Pro Shop Staff: Nice guys Starters: Good people, but clearly disconnected from operations Cart Service: Completely mismanaged Management: Brutal Signage Around Course: Weak for a resort-level property The biggest issue here is management and customer experience. This place feels like one giant Visa swipe. Spend the money. Train your staff. Open the halfway house before sunrise tee times. Communicate during weather delays. Treat paying customers like guests instead of inconveniences. We are the “4 Horsemen” from Houston, TX here on our annual MayCation golf trip: 18 Thursday 36 Friday 36 Saturday 18 Sunday The horsemen won’t be back… and neither will anyone we recommend this place to.

I'm leaving 2 reviews, 1 for the golf course, and 1 for the shot tracer range bays. Golf Course: Its great now that construction is 95% complete. Lakes 1 still has tees moved forward, but rest of course is in good shape and new holes (Creeks 1, Creeks 9) are fun. 5 Stars Shot Tracer Range Bays: The hitting area is too close to the seating area. Left handed golfers will likely not be able to hit driver because the screen is in the way of their backswing. The tee on the mats is so far forward that your foward foot is on the edge of the mat when hitting driver. There is no actual server or bartender; you have to scan a QR code to order food, then the food is delivered via golf cart. Website lists balls as unlimited, but course staff confirmed you will only recieve 100 balls per hour regardless of party size. There is no bathroom at this facility; if you need to use the bathroom they have to shuttle you back to the clubhouse (this is one the dumbest things IMO). Staff attending the bays were very friendly and helpful. I think I'd still go here over Top Golf but only because its 2 minutes from home and was not busy at all. 2.5 Stars

Most of the negative reviews are either from people who clearly have an agenda or have trouble writing a coherent sentence. This place is great. 4.9 instead of 5 stars because the signage between nines could be a little better but a very minor point. Cool range with the cows and the course is excellent. People complaining about the place strike me as the types of folks who play the back tees because they think they should be on tour and then hit 0 greens in regulation.

Great staff. The fairways were in decent shape but the greens were really slow because they were aerated. That said Golf Now made no mention at all. Will definitely play again.
