It had been decades since I was last at the then Briarwood CC. The course looked spectacular and the practice areas are top notch. The club house is next level. I would love to play the updated layout

I played this course yesterday, and I'll start by saying I'm not a member. I was fortunate enough to be invited by one. The layout is fantastic, and the course was in pristine condition. The greens were fast and true, and the bunkers had actual soft, fluffy sand instead of the hard packed stuff you find at a lot of courses. Some of the views make you forget you're in Tyler, Texas, and feel like you're at a beautiful vacation spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely made it feel like your enjoyment mattered to them. The driving range is excellent, and the practice green is beautiful. Unlike most public courses, it wasn't overcrowded, and nobody was pushing us from behind. We were able to enjoy a relaxed, comfortable round at our own pace, which made the experience even better. I'd honestly love to be a member here someday. There is literally nothing bad I can say about this place. I absolutely loved it.

1st time thru. Cascades Country Club, Very Impressive landscaping, greens, fairways are well kept. Clubhouse. Dining, Indoor pickelball courts, Country Club living. Event Center. Located on the West side of Tyler along the southern shore of lake Bellwood. Marina with food Tennis courts excersise facility and a Beautiful pool. In East Texas this is the place to call Home. Update: the man I’m talking about was most definitely working with Cascades. Had the Cacades golf cart and polo shirt. He was consistently monitoring the parking lot by the club house, then on to the golf course. Not sure if owner is trying to save face or forgot they hired someone to work the lot. Older gentleman working parking lot/security was terribly condescending when I pulled into the club parking lot and needed to park somewhere else. Girl in the pro shop redeemed you a little. Very nice.
