Great neighborhood in Trinity, Texas, offering golf, swimming, pickle ball, tennis; newly built free standing fitness center, on site 19th Hole restaurant with good food, wine & beer at a great price. The WWS Golf Course has improved tremendously over the last few years. The addition of sand is a major improvement. Greens are not in perfect shape but the staff are conscientious of improvements needed and are working in the right direction. It takes time. The putt putt course is in dire need of renovation but hopefully will be updated and refreshed for future family fun. Residents have access to the facilities of Marina Village campground and events planned at the Marina which include seasonal events, karaoke, games and live music. Westwood shores does an incredible Independence Day celebration with a parade and fireworks display; 2 outstanding neighborhood wide garage sales; 2 theatrical productions, numerous golf tournaments and so much more. Glad we moved here. Neighbors are kind, generous and caring. The neighborhood is well maintained, peaceful and aesthetically pleasing thanks to maintenance and various committees.

CONs: water is garbage, they need to switch back to public water and stop with the shenanigans, long story there. HOA keeps going up, which always sucks. PROs: nice people, safe, grounds are maintained, always a guard at the gate, club house is nice with a gym, common area and bar/grill, pools open more often than not and the houses are affordable. Westwood shores would have 5 stars if they got the water right and HOA dues didn't climb higher every year.

Amazing wildlife with lots of room to spread out with amazing views to enjoy year long. Westwood shores subdivision in Trinity, Texas have some beautiful, great quality homes built by some talented and repetible builders. Not to mention all of the great amenities too!

Always 5 to 6 people in groups making play ridiculously slow. Also allowing them to start on back 9. There are times you breeze through the front 9 only to have hole 10 backed up with 3 groups. Prices went up making this not worth playing anymore.

Food is always good. Service is awesome so are the friends and neighbors you meet.
