Goat Track - and that does not stand for Greatest of All Time! Very disappointed the conditions! I should have known the conditions were going to be suspect based on the conditions at the driving range. The driving range should be closed because there is no grass to be found. Just sand therefore it is more like a good place for bunker practice or getting out of a fairway bunker. Hole 10 skirts the driving range without any protection to the sides or the ends. This is what I would think a west TX golf course would be like from the movie Tin Cup. This was not challenging at all. The only saving grace of this place was the beverage cart was seen more than once and the greens, although slow, were in fantastic shape. The Marshall informed me that the conditions were such due to the watering rules they have to follow. Wish I would have know that before booking. For the price it was not bad but wow this place needs some serious help for its tee boxes, driving range, and fairway conditions. The scorecard pic is simply false advertising and any review saying this place is awesome or above 2-Stars should be suspect to what an awesome course is in the asan Antonio area.

The Club at Rebecca Creek is a 18 hole par 72 golf course nestled in the hill country just north of San Antonio. The course is not in the best of shape as you are just as likely to find dirt instead of grass on the fairways. The greens and tee boxes need a some work as well. They keep the green fees are reasonably low, so I believe it is still a good value. The staff is also very friendly. There are no sand bunkers and no water hazards, but some oak lined fairways can still be challenging. Great place for beginners as most fairways are pretty wide. Nice and casual atmosphere make it worth it if you accept what you are getting.

I’ll start off by saying some nice things I observed. The range balls were cheap, the cart girl was very nice and attentive, and the guy in the pro shop was cool. Other than that this course was by far the worst course I’ve played in the San Antonio area. First, starting off with the tee boxes I understand they will not always be pristine but to have patches and patches of sand with weeds is ridiculous, for almost every tee box. Second, I also understand fairway conditions can vary course to course, but these were not fairways. Anywhere you hit the ball you’ll be hitting out of rough or tall grass. Even with a good shot good luck finding your ball. You’ll spend more time looking for the ball where you know it landed than actually playing the hole. Nothing but weeds, dirt patches, and straight up rough for the “fairways.” Third, the greens were slow and horrendous. Nothing as described. I get that the pro shop needs to talk good about the course itself but to have divots in the greens and patches on almost every one, on top of being so slow was unbelievable. Fourth, pace of play is always going to be a bit slower on the weekends. By hole 15 after I hit my ball into the “fairway”, which I couldn’t find, my buddy and I were looking at a 6 hour round. We teed off at 8:30 am. I could bear with a long round but from a maintenance aspect it was not worth even finishing this course. We left on hole 15 highly disappointed. Lastly, I don’t expect complete perfection for courses. However, to charge $60+ for a round with how poorly maintained the course is, is a complete rip-off. I wanted to be optimistic with the mixed reviews this course has, but my buddy and were let down. Please save your money and spend the extra $20-40 on a better maintained course.

I was fully made aware of the dry conditions of this golf course. I was paired with 3 local players who were very friendly and helpful in playing this course. It was in much better condition than I expected. The greens were in pretty good shape considering the drought they are experiencing.

The nicest staff! We had a great time at our fall golf tournament. TJ was amazing and so fun! Highly recommend
