Great municipal course. Staff is good and course condition is good. Very strange bumps on a few of the first greens but just a few. Challenging and fun. Great value with the discounted online rate.

Played Willow Springs Golf Course and had a great experience. This was my first time playing this San Antonio golf course, and I really enjoyed it. The course was well maintained and the greens were very fast, which made it fun and challenging. Overall, it was a great day of golf and a solid course in the San Antonio area. I'd definitely come back and play again.

It isn't a $150 green fee course. But, for a municipal course right now...it is a 5 star course as far as the greens go. The greens were all terrific, and not only because I had 5, 1 putts. I also had a 4 putt. I can't say the greens had anything to do with either. But, they rolled nice and were in above average condition for any municipal course. If you played Olympia last summer they were comparable in condition but a tad slower. Maybe they are growing them in and will cut them lower and lower. Please fix divots and keep them that nice. I really didn't have any major complaints. A few holes were cart path only so of that matters to you, ask before you play. Lines on the fairways and green were also notably done well.

We had a fantastic time playing at Willow. I heard the course underwent some changes and all the sand traps were removed, but it didn’t take away from the great experience we enjoyed. Excellent course, wonderful staff, and an all-around memorable day.

Great layout, for January the course is in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were good.
