Beautiful course and plenty challenging. Lots of amenities with great service. Pricing is steep compared to a few other courses. Biggest complaint was pace of play; took us 5 hours plus. Even with multiple rangers and a GPS tracker. I'd actually make it a 3.5 star because of it.

Had an absolutely fantastic round at Canyon Springs Golf Course. The course itself is in incredible shape beautiful layout, well-maintained greens, and stunning scenery throughout. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why you love the game. But what really took the experience to the next level was Britney who came by with the drink cart. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were “hydrated”. It’s that kind of personal, thoughtful service that turns a great round into an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a top-notch golf experience with staff that truly cares, Canyon Springs is your place. We’ll absolutely be back!

Canyon Springs is an absolute GEM for a couple looking for a small wedding. Sofia is very professional and was delightful during our communication. Every option they had was laid out for us to choose from, with options to disregard some or upgrade others. Very customizable. The prices were stated up front and the invoice table with all counts, costs and totals were updated and shared with us after each change, which could be made any time up to 2 weeks ahead of the event. Total transparency. We only had 20 people, but the staff was amazing at every step. Transportation to and from the waterfall was readily available and waiting for us after I Do. All event milestones (apps, drinks, food service, etc.) were all on time and ready for anything. Ben was our staff wizard behind the curtain during the event, assuring everyone was in place when needed. Everything was beautifully decorated as requested, vendors were directed where to set up, it was well coordinated and well executed from initial proposal to the reception goodbyes.

Canyon Springs Golf Club is truly a gem in San Antonio. From the moment you arrive, the views alone set the tone—beautiful Hill Country scenery, peaceful surroundings, and a course that feels both challenging and enjoyable. The course is very well maintained, and you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything in great shape. The staff was welcoming and professional, making the entire experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Whether you’re there for a casual round or something more serious, it never feels intimidating—just enjoyable. What really stands out is the overall atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the game, and appreciate how beautiful San Antonio can be. Definitely one of those courses you look forward to coming back to. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors.

I have been playing Canyon for a couple of years and have consistently enjoyed the hospitality and kindness shown by the staff, especially the cart attendants. Brittnay, in particular, has always treated my group with respect and nothing short of professionalism. She is friendly, attentive, and goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a great experience on the course. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and her positive attitude genuinely adds to the overall atmosphere at Canyon. In an environment where customer service matters, Brittnay stands out for all the right reasons. I appreciate the way she interacts with players and helps make each round more enjoyable
