Great course, great staff! There’s some challenging holes and a great layout overall. My favorite is hole 16, if you’re not careful you may hit your drive into the water, but if you’re lucky you end up with a great approach. There’s a great mix or long par 4s and tricky greens and challenging par 5s. This place has a great vibe because I think they did a real good job when planning it out. Each hole has a different challenge and they do a good job of changing the flag placement regularly so it never feels repetitive. Even after heavy rains the course is in great shape and doesn’t stay too wet very long.

The course layout is fantastic. The pro shop person wasn’t very welcoming to outsiders. Funny thing is all 4 golfers in my group played there for the first time and all four checked in separately. But all 4 said the experience with her was the same. Golf these days is super expensive in the Houston metro area. This course is a great value in today’s golf world.

Decent course for price. Fairways and greens are good. The bunkers are in rough shape for price. Pace of play medium/slower side. Course has ZERO water jugs at any holes which is insane for $65+ rounds in this Texas heat. Better gotta hope the cart girl comes or stock before round and at the turn

Don't know what the bad reviews are about. The staff at the pro shop was friendly. Nice course layout, wide fairways, but the hills can make it challenging since a lot of courses in the Houston area are flat, which makes it a plus in my book. Marshall was friendly and respectful when he told us to pick up the pace of play, but he said that to every group on the back 9, and he was very nice about it. Definitely worth the price. Will be coming back since I live close by . Only suggestion would be to add water coolers throughout the course since it gets hot in the summer.

12/25/25. I don't know anything about this course yet. I have read some not so good comments and some good comments. I will keep in mind what I read in the comments (good/bad) and I will make my own unbiased opinion and edit this comment. 12/26/25. The staff gave it another star. Ok so, I have played here before (I have memory issues) and it was the same as now, 3-4 stars. I don't remember if the chipping green and driving range was the same though. Myself and nephew played there and I don't know what's up with the bad reviews about this course. Some people will always complain about something. Every person has different standards. If you are used to playing in a casino course or better then don't golf anywhere else but there. Myself as long as the fairways and greens are good the course is good. Yes there were some bad spots on a couple of greens but not that big a deal 🤷🥂🏌🏼 Yes, this course could be better sure; but, the same could be said about even the most expensive course. If this course had bad fairways or greens I would probably complain about it myself.
