We had a 40-man 'Ryder Cup' style event here and they were super easy to work with and the course was a lot of fun and made for some great matches. Half our field was from outside the Dallas area and almost all the locals had never played this course and we all really enjoyed the layout. I wouldn't say the course was overly tricky or challenging, but it was fair, you had to hit good shots in order to score. Some holes are a little more tight than others but for the most part you could miss the fairway and still have a look to score. Greens were awesome and rolled true and had nice pace to them. Practice facility included some short game holes and a massive putting green. Staff in the bar & grill was nice and did their best to keep up with our group of 40. All in all this was a nice place and you will not be disappointed playing here.

Found the course as a Friendly players course, flat in some areas nice swells in the fairways , rewarding for long and accurate players. Greens were In a good shape, rolled well. Given that parts of the course are dormant(fairways in particular) I would play it again. I was paired with another player and we were a 2 some. Speed of play was a 4hr. Round. I was satisfied overall with my first time ever playing here. Nice public course to play. cudos to the starter and clubhouse staff for being informative about the course when I asked about it.

The golf course conditions were very well-maintained. Jamieson and staff were very friendly, starter too. I highly recommend this course. Played Father's day 6-21-2026. Pecan Hollow is still one of my favorite courses to play at. The course is in immaculate shape. Staff is always friendly. It's such a welcoming and positive environment! Should definitely stop by their kitchen. Their burger is awesome! Played May 9th, 2025 Pecan Hollow golf course never disappoints. The course was in excellent shape. It was such a beautiful course to play on. Staff were exceptional.

Been a few times with a couple of buddies. Probably the best public course around. I'm here to leave a comment about my recent experience. Did some early evening golfing last night - tee time 6 pm. Got through about 14 holes before we called it. On the last hole, I realized I didn't feel my wallet on me. Panicked for a second and gave a good look yet couldn't locate it. My buddies, who are frequent visitors said not to worry. The employee and golfers are great people and someone will turn it in. Called at about 630 this morning and someone had already turned it in. I appreciate whoever came across my wallet and the guys in the clubhouse who held onto it for me until I could come pick it up. Stand up business and patrons. Check em out.

Have been coming here the past couple of months. It’s the best golf course around with the lowest prices. The grass condition is really good and the entire course is obviously being efficiently watered and maintained with absolutely care.
