Visiting from Dallas, we booked a Saturday round at Wildcat - Highlands. I was pleasantly surprised by how pristine the tee boxes, fairways, and greens were. It’s a challenging track that forces you to play smart and focus on placement rather than just hitting away. The green fees were a little on the high side, but given the fantastic conditions, it was well worth the stop.

Beautiful course and extremely well run. Really nice Mizuno rental set. We played the lakes and hole 3 was a beauty. It has a thoughtful design and combinations to challenge even the best golfers, specifically the greens (which were really tough) and run fast if it hasn't rained.

A buddy and I played the Lakes Course on Saturday morning. Him and I got paired up with two other guys for our 8:35 tee time. The round was going smoothly until we go to the 5th hole, when two Marshalls rolled up on us. They scolded us because we were 5 minutes behind pace. At that time, they also made us aware there was an Outing being held in the early afternoon. Information we didn’t know prior. Long story short, the Marshalls tracked us down several times throughout the round and rudely urged us to play faster as we were on the back 9. I completely understand they may have been under pressure to clear the Lakes course for the outing. But this shouldn’t come at the expense of paying customers. The green fees were $120; and you’re trying to rush me through my round?? That situation aside, very fun and challenging course that was in good condition.

I had never been to Wildcat. I was invited by a friend to play in a fundraiser. Right from the start, I liked this place. The staff are very professional and helpful. Our round was on the Highlands. The course was in perfect condition. The course has so much character. A couple of blind shots so be aware. Greens are huge and roll real true. I highly recommend playing this course if you haven’t already.

Nice course. Greens were really slow. The putting green was much slower than the greens. Tee boxes were very nice and so were the fairways. Greens were very nice just slow. Par 5’s were very quirky. Number 9 I had to hit iron off the tee. You should never have to hit an iron off the tee on a par 5. I would rate it a 3.5 if I was able to choose. Played Highlands. Bunkers were not good….. very little to no sand mostly dirt and very thin.
