Literally impossible to get a tee time. Don’t bother even calling, they get upset when you call about tee times. He rudely asked “Did you not check our APP before calling?” Had to explain to the Gentleman that I’m not from there, I’m from out of town. With that being said, How would I know about an App if I’m not from Midland. I’m a frequent golfer, and have played at many courses, but never have I been treated like that over a tee time phone check in. Definitely need to work on their customer skills. Three years ago, I married an amazing woman with two wonderful children. Their father passed away during COVID. By all accounts, he loved his children very much. I understand the honor and responsibility of being able to help raise his children. They are incredible kids, and it is very important to me that we continue to remember their dad and keep his memory alive. One of the things he loved was golf. After I married my wife, some of his belongings were still around the house. I noticed he had a nice set of golf clubs. When my son was younger, everything was a stick, a sword, or something to climb on—as boys often do. Wanting to protect those precious clubs until he was old enough to appreciate them, I tucked them away in the attic. This year, something changed. He is learning to respect and take care of things. One day he found his way into the attic and discovered his dad's driver. For the next month, he played with it in the backyard. Then he spent another month asking me to take him to the driving range. The truth is, I know absolutely nothing about golf. I dragged my feet, not because I didn't want to go, but because I was anxious. I understood how special this moment could be. This wasn't just a trip to hit golf balls. This was a chance for an 11-year-old boy to connect with his father through something his father loved. Eventually, I called his Pepaw and asked where we should go. He suggested Hogan Park. I called the Pro shop, and Don answered the phone. I asked every amateur question imaginable. To a trained ear, it probably sounded like I was calling under duress. Don was patient, kind, and answered every single question I had—including a few embarrassingly simple questions about buying clubs for my son. When we arrived at the pro shop, I was sweating bullets. I wanted my son to have a good experience. I wanted him to feel close to his dad. Don greeted us and helped us without ever trying to sell us anything. He simply provided information and guidance. There was no pressure. Talking with him felt like talking to an old friend. He immediately put me at ease. We made our way to the driving range, and my son started hitting balls. The first dozen shots he took came with ease. One golfer asked where my son trained. The truth is that he's had a few lessons from his Pepaw in the front yard and a lot of backyard practice—which resulted in the destruction of part of my fence. My little man's heart swelled with pride. You would have thought he had just won the U.S. Open. Another golfer commented, "I wish I had started that young." Throughout the afternoon, golfers would occasionally stop to watch him hit. One golfer gave us his extra bucket of balls. Another handed us a fist full of tee when we ran out. The kindness kept coming. When we finished, we stopped back by the pro shop to buy some tees for the backyard. Don simply handed us a pack and told us not to worry about it. As he handed them over, I found myself fighting back tears. I don't know much about golf, but I do know there is no crying in the pro shop. When we got back in the truck, my son immediately started begging me to bring him back the next day. He was excited, happy, and completely hooked. I told him that his dad in heaven was looking down on him and was very proud. I want to thank everyone at Hogan Park for being so kind to my son and me, especially Don. You may have thought it was just another day at the range or another day in the pro shop, but God answered my prayers through all of you. Every golfer who offered encouragement, every person who stopped to watch, every small act of kindness mattered. That day, I felt the spirit of my son's father and the grace of God through the people at your golf course. We will be back on Tuesday to buy a set of clubs, and you will be seeing a lot more of us. Thank you for helping create a memory that neither of us will ever forget.

They have two 18 hole course and one is being renovated right now. When that opens, the current playable course will be renovated. They are not taking care of the current opened course and "bad" is an understatement. Course is in a horrible condition and they still charge full amount for it. If you play here, get ready to play in dirt and rocks.

2 stars do to the place being worked on. What really bothered me is the lady in the grill with glasses. She talks to everyone like she is better.She acts like she owns the ice, questioning why a gentleman needed more ice. It’s ICE! Why does it matter, lady? Just need to shut up and do your work. Most annoying person I have encountered.

If I could give a 0 that would be the most accurate. “Pro Manager Jhon B” is a total disgrace to the place. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. They work for the city and think they own the place. He threw the keys at me and my husband. City should have more control over employees and the way they operate and treat people.
