I don’t golf but I accompanied my husband who does. This was several months ago. Apparently the main food / bar area was under renovation so it was relocated - they made my drink decently (not too skimpy if ya get it) and the hotdogs were nice to have right away on what turned out to be a very cold and windy day. As of last week, they were hit by a tornado so the course has a very unique landscape at the moment. Worth it for the uniqueness, affordability, and they could probably use the support as they recover.

We had a great day of ⛳️. We will definitely play this course again.

Greens were in good to great shape. Tee boxes, some you needed a jackhammer to get a tee in the ground. Fairways some good, most were bad.

I wish I could give this course zero stars, but I guess they get one. This is by far the worst course in Lubbock and any where else for that matter. If you love hiking, off-roading, riding dirt bikes, then this is the place for you. But if you want to golf then do not play here. There are so many problems with this course starting with the fact that it is 90% dirt and rocks with the 10% coming from the greens with dirt patches in them. With no one enforcing pace of play, groups spend 30 mins a hole looking for balls because every rock on the course looks like a ball. Hole 9. Oh this hole is embarrassing. This actually has the best looking green on the course but the thing is, they don’t use it. Why? Because they mowed the “fairway” down to create a new green 50 yards from the tee box. Surely it has a normal hole? No. For some reason there is a 12 inch hole in the ground with a normal size hole in the middle. Just a strange thought process for whoever came together and thought that was a good idea. After reading some other reviews I noticed that someone has also mentioned this and the course responded saying “we are in the process of making the course better and look forward to the future.” That review was a year ago so it seems like they are still looking forward to the future to start using the insanely priced green fees. $50 is just a joke for a course like this. Hole 10 or i like to call it the driving range. Don’t hit your tee ball on the right side of the “fairway” or you’ll spend 30 mins looking through the hundreds of range balls that are on the fairway. For some reason this hole and the range share the space. Again just strange. Hole 15 or the sand dunes? I’m still not sure but make sure you have someone drive up the fairway while you tee off to keep an eye on the ball or else you’ll never find it with the piles of dirt and rocks everywhere. The middle of the fairway would also be my first choice of parking an excavator. Make sure you bring your rain boots because driving on the cart path reminded me what it’s like to walk in a river. The drainage system is just awful. Once again it really looks like the $50 green fees are going to good use. I’m sure the owner loves taking family vacations every other week instead of working on his golf course. The one positive is that they do have a student discount. Oh wait they took that away. Just strange again. If anyone wants to play a decent round of golf just save some time and go play literally anywhere else. I see that the owner does respond to some reviews so I really hope that they respond just so we can see what they have to say.

Terrible experience being here. Scheduled a 11am tee time and did not receive a cart by 11:50. Had to get a refund. People in the pro shop flat out just didn’t care. “Sorry it’s a holiday” is all we got. Truly embarrassing way to do business and I was immediately reminded why I play here once a year.
