Played 9 holes at Liberty Municipal today and had a damn good time. It’s not some over-the-top resort course, and that’s honestly part of what I liked about it. It’s a real, old-school municipal course with enough trees, water, and small greens to make you actually think your way around. The layout is fair, but it will absolutely punish sloppy approach shots, which I learned the hard way. Even with a weather delay, I enjoyed the round and left wanting to come back. Good local course, good atmosphere, and a fun place to work on your game without all the pretentious nonsense.

I can’t imagine a course for $30 that’s in better condition than this one. I played this course as I was traveling through in early May and was pleasantly surprised at how great the conditions were. The staff was top-notch, And everybody on the course was incredibly laid back. The carts had technology with the mapping which was an added bonus. Restaurant on site looked great but I didn’t have time to try it. The course was fun with some great risk/reward opportunities. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s nine holes only so I imagine it can get a little congested once people start playing through. I didn’t have that problem on a Tuesday afternoon, but I can see how it would be an issue. highly recommend the course here in the area

My home course. Great layout 9 hole. Some exciting par 3’s and some nice wide fairways. 5 and 8 are my favorite holes. Very well maintained. Green fee comes with cart but you can walk it.

I had the pleasure of volunteering for the Cowboy Classic yesterday. The green was well maintained, they have new tech golf carts, and the staff was amazing. From the Marshall, to the kitchen staff, the golf shop attendant, and Rodney and Michael took extra care to make sure our committees' needs were met. Top notch
