This place is an absolute joke. Calling this place a golf course feels generous- It’s more of a glorified sand field with a few holes scattered throughout it. The conditions were unacceptable from the moment we stepped onto the first tee. The tee boxes looked like they hadn’t been maintained in weeks. Thick overgrown grass. I played my first shot out of the jungle on every single hole. The fairways looked like a failed sod experiment, more dead grass and dirt than a fairway. Oh and one word for the greens…Abysmal. $70 for this was laughable. Afternoon tee time and a bucket of range balls. You would have to pay me to play this course again. Ridiculous. I will say one good thing about this course is a nice grass range that faces the lake with plenty of space. I wish i just stayed at home and played with myself.

Just shot my lowest round ever out there over the weekend. Course was nice, wet from rain at the end of the week but still manageable since I walk anyways. Would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for the really rough pace of play. Course was absolutely overcrowded/overbooked so it took 5 hours to play the round. A few weeks ago I walked another course in under 2 1/2 hours. This time we were waiting behind another group and watching them tee off on almost every hole. I've heard it's not always like that, but the 2-3 times I've played there it seems like the case. It won't be my go-to but I'd still go back for an ego boost. If you want to play by yourself, get ready to share a cart with a random. Not optional. Absolutely ridiculous. I paid for a cart I want my own cart. I then told him I’m not doing that I wanted to refund my paid for round. He then tells me he is not able to refund my payment. What a joke of a course. Also told me he had 300 golfers out on the course. Well there’s your problem. How about you implement pace of play management and only let enough people play that you have carts for. Will never be back.

The holes are good, but they are so on top of one another that we had to pause multiple times because others kept hitting onto our fairway and even picked up our balls a few times. There was also quite a bit of trash on the course, like cigarettes, bottle caps and snack trash.

*Updating to 4 stars after a miraculous service save by the cart girls, especially the redhead on the back 9.* Not worth it overall. Would recommend something like trails of frisco instead if you’re looking to play on the weekend for a similar rate Service is 1 star from pro shop manager to marshal. They all meant well but weren’t very good to some of my friends who first time golfers Course shape is 3 stars. Come a long way over the last few years. Surprisingly dry with all the recent rain but still in good shape. Super easy course if you lose a lot of balls. 5 stars for the fact they had a charity on one hole helping first responders. Really enjoyed chatting with that representative
