Went for the BBQ and fireworks and it truly a disappointment. Only one bar open ,lines where 20 deep, we ate at 630 with r6 of us and there was no seating. Don't know why they had a jewelry shop set up in half the room and food was cold. Drink tickets where overpriced and line was also to long. Do the fireworks and get a burger that's it. Truly one of the worst experiences I've had there.

Very disappointing customer service. I have been trying since Friday to simply find out the membership price and how to join, but no one has been able to give me a clear answer. I was given a phone number, but no one answers, and apparently the person I need to speak with is unavailable until Tuesday or Wednesday. I don’t understand why I need to make an appointment just to find out the price of a membership. I was ready to join on Friday and start using the gym, pool, and other club facilities over the weekend, but now it is Monday and I still cannot even get basic information. My time is valuable too, and I expect a club that wants new members to make the process easy and professional. Unfortunately, this experience makes me seriously question whether I want to become a member at all. Very poor first impression and very disappointing service.

I joined The Clubs of Kingwood in October with the expectation of a high‑quality, well‑rounded club experience. Unfortunately, the reality has been far from what was promised, and I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before committing. The amenities, food, and overall service are consistently subpar—especially for women or anyone who doesn’t golf. The facilities feel dated, the dining options lack quality, and the service rarely meets the standard you would expect for the price point. For non‑golfers, the value simply isn’t there. Most events are routinely sold out, scheduling is inflexible, and it’s difficult to participate in much of what the club advertises. Two weeks after joining, I attempted to cancel my membership due to these issues and even tried to negotiate a reasonable buyout. The club refused to cooperate on every front. To make matters worse, I received a rate increase of more than 15% just two months after joining—an increase I was never informed about during enrollment. Being locked into a contract while pricing changes without transparency is extremely disappointing. Overall, the experience has been underwhelming and not reflective of the cost. The dated facilities, limited amenities, and lackluster food simply do not justify the membership fees. I would strongly encourage potential members to think twice before signing. There are far better options in the area that offer more value, better service, and a more member‑focused approach.

Everything you want in a Private Atheltic Club and Way More. I was there for tennis and the newly surfaced tennis courts and Pickleball were in fantastic condition. The locker room is like Augusta and the gym and pool are aboce and beyond. They over numerous camps for children of all ages and interests. The courts offer plenty of shade and the setting is tranquil as it is adjacent to the golf course.

One of my wife Laurie's and my favorite things to do is enjoy a date night or lunch together at Tavern 91 at The Clubs of Kingwood. The food is outstanding, and the presentation is always exceptional. Executive Chef Nick Fine brings an impressive culinary background to every dish. His experience includes cooking at the renowned Mansion on Turtle Creek under Chef Dean Fearing, working at Veritas in New York City with Chef Scott Bryan, serving as a sous chef at Brennan's of Houston, and helping open acclaimed restaurants such as Ford Fry's State of Grace and Chris Shepherd's One Fifth. His passion and expertise are evident in every meal. While the food alone is worth the visit, The Clubs of Kingwood offer so much more. The club hosts a variety of social events throughout the year, creating opportunities to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We are also active in the fitness facility, and Laurie especially enjoys the fitness classes, where she has developed a wonderful sense of community. Whether you're looking for a great meal, an active lifestyle, meaningful social connections, or simply a place to unwind from the fast pace of everyday life, The Clubs of Kingwood deliver a truly exceptional experience.
