I usually play in the Houston area but every few months when I’m near Huntsville, I play Bearcat. It’ s a really neat course with a great layout that’s different for this part of the state. When you’re in the middle of it, you’d think you’re in a different part of the country. Over the last couple of years, they’ve worked hard to get the greens in good shape as well as the traps. For the cost, this is a great value.

Such an amazing course. Even better how they treat their members. Was pleasantly surprised by how difficult the course was, especially from the back tees. 10/10 will be returning

Decent layout, fun and cheap. They were aerating but rest of course wasn’t too bad. First time here and will come back for the price and once everything settles.

Course was in good shape. Greens were quick. Would recommend coming early as it gets crowded mid-morning. Great practice facilities! Green fees are extremely fair! We tee’d off at 740a and were able to play at a leisurely pace and weren’t pushed at all, nor did we run up on any other groups. Definitely coming back!

Good layout. Great people inside. Course needs a little TLC. Fairways aren’t too bad. Greens are a little too long and slow for me. Some greens have some bare spots and poa. Not bad for the price for sure. Big difference between blue and gold tees. Blue has some long par 4’s. For an older mid handicapper they need to have a combo on the score card for blue/gold. Overall not bad. I would play there again.
