Wonderful Par 3 course. I'm new to golf and this was the closest par 3 to my home. I was so excited to finally hit grass after a few months practicing on mats and it's been lovely! The course is challenging enough for someone new but very forgiving! The 3 times I've been there I've seen kids, families, adults, teens and everything in between. The course is well kept. Obviously it's not TPC so lower the expectations. Overall, each time I've been there has been awesome and not very busy, ever for a Saturday afternoon! I'll keep coming back many many more times :)

Great improvements over the years.. surprised each time i go. Cant believe open 7 days a week and tee boxes, greens, etc in such great appearance . We had a reserved tee time at 7am.. use the app to reserve, usually busy, not always a walkon place.. Driving range and putting area were very nice. Clean clean clean. Club house looks imaculent. Staff super Helotes friendly! Have some very professional tee pads to hit off of.. Par 3 is to work on short game here, except for range, and all the surprises good old golf brings. Holes are 80 to 175 yds, if i remember right.. fun easy 3 to 4 clubs makes a beautiful gathering if your bringing some friends. Highly recommend as this is a Helotes gem!

Love Oak Valley. Great rates. Greens are in great shape. And now each hole has a Tee box with mats. Great spot to work on your short game.

A hidden gem of a course! To be able to play past 9pm was awesome!

Brought my boys here for a round on Father’s Day, and we had a great time. The clubhouse has been nicely updated, and although the course was busy, the pace never became frustrating. The grass coverage was excellent and consistent throughout the course, making for an enjoyable round. The only surprise was the price—it has more than doubled since my last visit a few years ago. I imagine the new owners are recouping their investment from the renovations. Even so, the course is in great shape, and we had a memorable Father’s Day outing.
