Course layout very fun to play. The greens are in great shape! They roll true. Not too fast or too slow. Fairways are good. The course needs attention on car paths - ball cleaning stands- cleaner carts - sand for carts. Great price. Will be back.

We had a 4 some of avg to pretty good golfers 2 being current college athletes. (82, 86, 88, 92). Bad: Appeared to be only 4 or 5 groups on the entire course. The marshall followed us the entire round saying speed up even while leaving group behind us in the dust. Very uncomfortable. Good: Ladies in clubhouse very nice, Meh: course ok shape.

Course seems to be going downhill. Have played here many times and greens have always been good and fairways/ bunkers ok as well. Today it was in rough shape. Greens were punched recently but grass seems to be dying. Large spots of dead grass in fairways too. Bunkers are unplayable. No sand. Not sure where the $$ is going but this is not a $80 course. On the positive side the people working there are very friendly.

Decent course, fun hole designs, but a lot could be improved. Fairways were nice, greens were ok, although your ball was covered in green fertilizer every time you putt. A few things really ruined the experience though. First, the Marshal. We were on hole 9 when this guy rolls up. No wave, good morning, anything. Just "You guys need to quit screwing around and pick up pace. The group in front of you is already on the next green." and drove off. Ok, so I looked at the time...we were 1:30 into our round, finished the front 9 in 1:40 (we did a 2v1 scramble). What kind of pace are you expecting? That group in front? Teed off 20 minutes before us and was a group of 2. No one behind us either. It was the strangest Marshal interaction I've ever had and we finished in 3:35 which is fast for a Friday. He just needed to let off some steam I guess. Next, not a single bunker was playable. Every one was rock solid or had standing water in it. I hit a 3-wood out of the fairway bunker because it was sitting up so well. Other bunkers were remove ball and play from behind. Last thing that killed it for me is their "dynamic pricing". You'll see rates listed on their site, but when you arrive they make up a number and charge you for that. Why have any pricing info on your website if it's never that price? They didn't offer a receipt, so that's my fault for not catching it at check-in and saying something. They said Friday mornings are peak demand, which is funny because again there was no one around us on the course, except the group in front that we were supposed to rush apparently. Overall, save your money. There are much better courses within a short drive for the same or cheaper price. Some holes are under construction so they just put all the tee boxes 200 yards out on a par 4.

I’ve been to Riverside a few times now and have been pleased each time. The staff is friendly and helpful and the course is good one. Pace of play today was great. Greens are in very good shape. Will return soon!
