My husband and I love this golf course. Staff is always friendly and greens are taken care of. 4 different 9-hole courses. Most recently they have had the cart girls coming around more often which is great. We consider his our home course and our first pick when booking a t-time.

Prairie Lakes Golf Course: A Top Tier Experience ​The April Fools Open at Prairie Lakes Golf Course was an outstanding event. Spending the day on the greens with my long time Army buddy Nick provided a perfect environment for great conversation and camaraderie. ​While I am not a golfer the atmosphere and hospitality make this a destination worth visiting. The culinary experience was a primary highlight. The brisket sandwich featured a robust smoky flavor paired with perfectly seasoned beans and Texas toast. It is rare to find food of this caliber at a public course and I would return specifically for the brisket. ​The staff provided professional and friendly service in every aspect of the event. It was also a pleasure to engage with the team from The Ticket which is easily the best radio station around. Prairie Lakes is open to the public and offers a welcoming environment for everyone. I highly recommend visiting for the food the people and the overall experience.

I’ve played Prairie Lakes quite a few times and always enjoy it. The course is fun, the staff is friendly, and it’s one of the more affordable places to play in the area, even on weekends. One thing I really like is that they have three different 9-hole courses, so you’re not constantly playing the exact same layout every time you go out. It keeps things interesting and gives you some variety. A few things could be improved, but overall it’s a solid course and one I’d definitely recommend.

Pro shop staff friendly and helpful! Course was in decent shape. Annoying putting on over sanded greens. (I think they should discount the round whenever any course does this). Pace of play really bogged down on the back nine. I never saw a Marshall once the entire time or cart girl. But there were starters as each nine kicked off in theor defense.

As a completely first time golfer coming to this amazing establishment I can say that this place has been a wonderful DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! People believe this because this wonderful golf course is on the lower end of pricing it can’t be worth it but they are COMPLETELY wrong! I had the privilege of being greeted by Juan by the door who not only accommodated me as a disabled veteran but was able to put me in a comfortable mindset to enjoy the round I had setup today. I had the most wonderful kitchen staff led by Mr. will Delgado who was able to accommodate my allergies as well as specific requests and he nailed it 10 fold. He was able to make sure I had a delicious meal and made sure no allergies for me and my family came into play. I ran into a wonderful bartender named Mia Guerra who was not only able to make our drinks from back home but introduce us to Texas beverages. I was able to experience the complicated science of what they are able to create everyday. I will 100% be back and I can’t wait to see what this establishment has for us.
