Great course in gladewater tx. Great layout- employees were very friendly & accommodating. Course has a lot of elevation changes. Tight course and challenging. Only 1 suggestion- hole 10 has a couple of drainage holes that need to be corrected. But definitely you need to play this course. They do have places to stay by the course. Be a great golf trip. Also great wait staff & good food at their onsite restaurant.

For starters, the golf course is immaculate! Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better golf course in East Texas. Challenging for the best out there! The cart guys outside you'll love! They'll wash your clubs off for you when you return and load your bags for you. You don't have to, but I tipped them $20. I've been to 5 ⭐ resorts that didn't do this. Now, the bad part, the people that work inside, I was told was "the boss" working the pro shop. Horrifically rude. Went to eat after the round and the lady working the bar/restaurant couldn't have an ounce of respect to save her life. I told the cart boys they should be working inside because they are the only ones I came across that knew how to treat people. They said, yup! "Only bad part about working here is the people that work here." This is a honest review. As honest as I can be. To the owners, I don't need a "thank you and we'll look into it." I am a business owner myself. There are reviews similar to mine. I would absolutely come in, and make sure there is never another review like mine. Your people make or break your business. Great product. Staff has to match the product.

Great course design with scenic holes and great amenities. Course was in great shape excluding some washed out bunkers but most were okay enough to play. My only two areas of improvement: 1.No ready food at the turn. They have no hotdogs, sandwiches, breakfast tacos ready to go so if you want food at the turn you either need to stop by when going to hole 7 or call ahead. That’s not too difficult to do but every course should have some hot dog rollers or pre made sandwiches in the fridge. 2. Add sand to the bunkers Would highly recommend!

Found the course to be of an intermediate challenge. Was slightly disappointed to see so many areas throughout the course with bare spots. Greens were in a great condition. I played this course because it is one on the top public courses to play. I didn’t shoot par ,ended with a mid 80, which for playing for the 1st time I am happy with. I see this course as a $60 given its condition. When matured and well kept $70-$90 weekday. Given the weather and the chance for possible rains I showed up before my tee time and they were able to let me play earlier than my noon tee time. Love this course. It’s a refreshing change from the typical flat Texas layout, with plenty of elevation changes that actually make you think through each shot. It honestly reminds me of some of the courses I’ve played in Colorado. The greens are in fantastic shape, the restaurant serves excellent food, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. This place is absolutely beautiful... I think this is probably my new favorite East Texas course.
