I paid $78 holiday rate today for a round of golf. The course is awesome from tee box to green. The the greens a just bad. The greens have a bunch of areas that are just dirt. This has been an issue for years. All of of the other courses in the area have nice green regardless of the weather. I think it's time that Timber need to gut the greens and try a different grass. We have had a mild winter and spring and the greens are still just bad. It's embarrassing to take friends, family or clients there and have to play their greens. Please address the issue and find a solution or stop charging a premium price. Hope you can get it fixed cause I love the layout.

The more I play golf the more I realize that every course has its own sets of issues. It can also be said that what makes a course good or bad can vary by opinion. Perhaps I am not a serious golfer, but for me course aesthetic and layout are just as important as course maintenance. This course is both beautiful and challenging. From the flowing creek to the thick forest and rolling hills this place offers some of the best views in the area. We played from the white tees and the par 4s felt a lot like par 5s at an average muni. You get to play two of the three 9 hole tracts as designated by the starter who chooses for you at his discretion. The fairways are smooth riding and in good shape apart from your typical crabgrass patches and cart wear. The greens rolled true, even with there being a few rather unsightly ones. The tee boxes are in decent shape apart from one or two. The staff that we interacted with were very friendly. I think 70 dollars for a weekday green and cart fee was fair. A big bonus star because I saw a Limpkin and a pair of Scissor-tailed kites for the first time as a weekend birder of 6 years. 4 stars from me. To earn that 5th star they’d have pure up the greens and keep the price the same.

Had a great experience today playing 9 holes. Course is in great shape considering it is late August and its been super hot and dry. The layout is both challenging and fair. Greens were receptive and rolling true, but not fast. Pro shop workers were friendly and helpful. The starter, Wes, did a great job of starting me on the back nine where there were only a couple of groups playing ahead of me. I was able to finish 9 holes in just over 1 hour!! Obviously this is not a typical pace of play, but I was just lucky that there's only a few of us crazy enough to play in the heat of the day in August.

Great course. Friendly staff. Nice variety of holes with different challenges. Carts are a bit old with no GPS. Rates are a touch on the high side for the quality. Still, all in, not a bad course. Will likely go back again.

Decent course. Neat layout and it’s nice having 3 different 9’s. 4 stars because most of the greens were awesome but there were bit that were far less than stellar. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Price-wise, >$80 with a cart is too much for this quality a course. I’d pay closer to $50-60 to come here again. Pace of play was fine, no real wow factors. Nice club house, outdated carts. 7/10 course that’s priced like a 9/10.
