First off, the course is amazing. Beautiful, well-kept greens. With deer and wildlife everywhere. We arrived on a Sunday after and had the whole course to ourselves. We had reservations to stay there that night... but when we got back to the room, it had not been cleaned from the day before. Beds were a mess, and there were dirty towels on the floor. It was after hours, and we were unable to contact anyone. So we went and stayed at a wonderful Holiday Inn back in Palestine. The next morning when we arrived for our tee time. Management apologized for the inconvenience and refund the charge for the room. I truly believe this was an accident. Next time we'll check in the room before we go to play golf. And again the golf course is amazing. 18 is a great part 5.. i birded it. ⛳️🏌‍♂️

We came here with my husband and another couple to celebrate his birthday. The golf course was pretty and well maintained-although granted, I was just along for the golf cart ride! The condos were outdated and very basic. We didn’t spend a lot of time in our room because of this, but hung out in the club house playing board games. The food was decent- not the best, not the worst. I think the lodging and food could be elevated to make it more of a resort feel, but we had a good time regardless for what it was. If you choose to stay here, just keep those things in mind.

This is an outstanding golf course and place to stay. The service from that staff is great. Just to be clear, this is not a 5 star resort that will pamper your every need. This is a top quality golf course, with nice lodging. Practice area- great driving range and practice areas. Multiple chipping greens, bunkers and a large rolling putting green. All in top shape. Food and accommodations- cool little club house with decent food. Accommodations depend on how much your budget it. All clean and comfortable. The course - this is a championship caliber course in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways are great. The greens are pristine (with a couple exceptions under repair). The course is challenging. If you don’t play the course, the course will have its way with you. Lots of planned shots and lay ups. The bunkers were placed with the intention to make sure you have a wedge game. If you’re bad in the sand, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to work on this. The course is quiet with the exception of an occasional cuss word and the sound of a ball hitting trees, lots of trees. The grip it and rip it golfers may struggle here. This is an outstanding place to play or plan a guys golf trip. They will take care of you!!

played Pine Dunes (#7 in Texas) on 4/7/26 and was disappointed with the course conditions. While the greens looked great, they were extremely slow. Based on their Instagram, I expected top-tier conditions year-round, but that wasn’t the case.

Pine Dines was perfect spot for our group of avg golfers; the course was challenging but fair. Jackson had his team setup for success and met all our needs; Miranda and the culinary team prepared catfish, fajitas and steak dinners. All were on time and the guys all walked away satisfied, they especially loved the catfish. Abbey and Kaitlyn were serving drinks on the cart and in the grill, everyone stayed hydrated. Golf staff had carts ready to go each morning and returned any items that were left behind after the long days. Lodging was better than expected so as long as you’re managing expectations, they’ll do just fine. We stayed in every option of room they had. All in all, if looking for an outside the box golf trip that can accommodate most requests then Pine Dunes is a wonderful spot to consider.
