Hands Down a hidden Gem in the Rio Grande Valley, this Golf course offers an 18 hole experience that will not make you wish "dang I should've bought more balls". I always have fun playing this course and the greens are big enough to make a beginner seem like a pro. I have played a tournament here and consider this to be my home course since I reside in Edinburg, Texas. This course is outlined by residential houses that could make it hard to find a lost or wrong hit ball but most of the occupants are really nice about the golfers that go in and use the course. I can only say the only thing that this course might need to up keep is their driving range and have a Cart Girl/Boy driving for refreshments since it is always hot down in the RGV. All in all. always a great experience with the staff and the Marshall Rene is such a great guy to say hi to. Hole #12 is the most challenging but also the most Beautiful in my opinion.

This course is an easy course with only a few holes that have water in-play. I played from the white tees which made the course over 6000 yards long, and shot a legitimate 82 (I'm a 20 handicapper, if that's any indication of this course's lack of challenging holes.). If you are looking to play a course that has a U.S. GHIN rating, this isn't the course for you! The course cannot be found in the GHIN app, so I suspect they never renewed their rating, which I have heard has to be done every 10 years. All of the fairway and greenside bunkers have been removed. Greens were super-fuzzy, making them EXTREMELY slow (Played on Memorial Day, so maybe the mowers were not out that weekend. I've read other very positive reviews about the greens. One of the reasons I wanted to play there.). The driving range looks like a disaster area with no grass and destroyed, torn up, down nets (One of the locals told me he's been playing there for about 2 years, and the driving range has been the same all that time.). Nevertheless, I had fun and even on a course like this one shooting an 82 made me feel good, since I never break 90.

My first experience here. From the beginning we felt judged. As we obtained our golf carts about to head out the marshal without a reason aggressively comes up to us telling us because we were a group of 6 that we need to separate. Nothing was said to him. He said the moment he sees us all on the green he would be kicking us out. After he scolds us for no reason he drives off laughing. None of this was explained to us when we were paying. We obviously weren’t gonna stay there after being aggressively talked to. As we were asking for a refund the GM approached us and asks why we were leaving. After explaining to him what had happened he goes on to say that it’s because it’s been a long day and he’s been having it rough. I understand if the people prior to us were giving him grief but we had just arrived to the area. He could have explained to us the rules with hospitality and we would have understood and stayed. The fact that he was rude and aggressive ruined the whole experience for us. The GM nor the Marshall have no sense of customer services. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
