Since I have been back home from Florida a few years. I have enjoyed Beacon Lakes challenging layout and their practice facilities. Course is well maintained and the staff is always helpful. Good to be home.

As with other comments, they could benefit from being with the times and having an online system for booking. The staff were a real mixed bag - one pleasant guy and one very rude one. But it's important to note that you get what you pay for - for the price this is a perfectly functional golf course. It has a couple difficult holes, some easy ones - good treeline, bunkers and ponds to create some challenging shots. They could do a better job of maintaining the course but given it was hot, the greens weren't in too bad shape. 3 stars is fair

My first time being here, and I have to say this place is great! Fairways are pretty bumpy and very narrow, (make sure you do not hook it or slice it because you will hit the apartments next door 😅😅) nevertheless the location is really quiet. The proshop has that old school vibe and the staff was very cool and professional. I wouldn't get too hung up on some of these reviews, I would definitely recommend checking this place out for yourself.

If you are a family man/woman please consider going elsewhere. My husband, me and our son and friend came out to enjoy a family fun day like some of our friends have done with there littles at this very course and we were treated absolutely horrible for having our son with us. While waiting to go to the tee box an employee came out with the sourest meanest face asking us why we had our baby and I’m not joking literally told us we needed to be more responsible/better parents. Once I got off the cart and up to his face telling how dare he judge us and think he knows how/who we are as parents because we brought our son out to be together as a family he said he was sorry (as he should be). Another employee came out as was the exact same way telling us having our baby with us isn’t a family day. We 100% know rule are rules but we have friends who had just taken their baby the weekend before. We also know not everyone wants to be around a baby which we get. Had he began to be fussy and causing a disturbance we would have gone to the truck. No biggie. But he loves being outside and we’ve never had an issue with him at the golf course. They could have been so much kinder and approached the issue VERY differently instead of insulting us, staring at my baby like he was disgusting and running us off. It’s unfortunate as well because we have a large golf community/friends who are VERY family oriented, so they have lost out on a lot of customers because they don’t know how to speak to people. It’s a drive but we ended up coming to chambers golf course and had the best time!
