Played there 5-16-23 I paid $30 through Golf Now. Course is in great shape. Fairways are plush and greens are smooth although a little slow. A few spots here and there that could use some TLC. Just hit it in the fairway and it's an easy game 😎

I do not enjoy posting bad reviews, especially for a course which has usually been near and dear to my heart. That said, this course has really taken a turn for the worst. So much so that it was difficult to think of any redeeming quality for my last round. Tee boxes were in terrible shape. Which for being peak spring is concerning. The green management was poor and almost every green had dozens of previously previously punched pin holes. The grass seemed in good condition, but with the pin holes punched was difficult to play. Pace of play was poor, and we did not begin until ~15 minutes after our scheduled tee time and were back-to-back from beginning to end. The round was ~5 hours and 30 minutes. Then, on top of all of this, there was not a single water cooler on the course, nor a cart beverage attendant present except for on the 10th hole. To get free water you would need to visit the club house. For nearly 90 degree weather, it's a pretty sad day when the course is unwilling to even provide a few water coolers to help prevent golfers from heat exhaustion. It is very unlikely me or my family will be returning to this course anytime soon. Might sound like harping on a bit, but to not even have water coolers present on a hot day seems to suggest that the course no longer cares about the customer. For $70 a tee-time, I can find better places to play that are near by. I really hope something can change in the future to make this once nice golf course worth returning too.

The course has improved since I last played in 2024. However, they have let the bunkers go for the most part, with barely any sand in most of them. On hole #3, unless you can cut the ball and hope you don't go straight into the water, your only option is hitting a lofted iron to clear the first tree in front of your tee shot. If you don't hit it far enough, you will hit the second big tree behind it, leaving you a 200+ approach shot. It's a terribly designed hole. Hole #4 is the opposite: an open tee shot uphill, then you have a tree-lined opening to get across to a dogleg left green. Hit something high and aim at the greenside bunkers. On the positive side, the greens were pretty good—a little bit slow, but they rolled nicely. At one time, this was a very well-maintained course; now it's just okay.

Purely based off their availability and ability to get me in I'm very short notice when another course cancelled on me 20 minutes before 6:30 a.m. tee time. Danny at the front desk came in clutch and even got a setup with rental clubs for the round today. They punch their greens so their course isn't shut down because of a little rain like the other place.

My third time here and it never disappoints. Great team that runs it, the cost is $49 which includes a drink and sausage wrap. The course is in good shape but some of the greens have damage that they are working on. This is target golf and it requires you to stay within yourself, but it's fun to play.
