I had GREAT time playing this course. Fairways and greens were in good condition and the pro shop staff was attentive, courteous AND efficient! GREAT value here!!

Played Decatur golf club this morning for the first time ever and me and my buddy i Played with thought the course was awesome and loved our experience. And the girl working the counter was very nice and polite. I will be coming back and will eventually become a member.

This is the first time I have ever posted a review but felt compelled to do some something to help others. Buyer Beware! Took my two sons (11 & 9) and my 75 year old handicapped father (visitng out of state) to this course. First, they charged $20 cart fee. That sounds reasonably on the high end but that’s not the catch…they charged us a cart fee for each rider! $80 to use two carts and two of the four riders aren’t even legally able to drive it. The worst part…on Hole 18, the manager approached my handicapped father who was wearing a backpack oxygen device that he was not allowed to park his cart near the green. I’m not going to insult them on condition of the course because it’s not the fault of the folks who actually work the grounds that the place is what it is. In total it was $200 for one round of 9 holes…required to pay for 18…no 9-hole rate at 2:00P on a Friday. For $200, you could play some great courses in Haslet/N Fort Worth and go have a nice dinner afterwards.

Pro: Decatur golf club had openings when others did not. Cons: No food or adult drinks (just candy and soda), kids are running the pro shop and concessions (can’t answer basic questions), golf club rentals were a complete joke (mixed ladies and men clubs, mixed right and left hand clubs and no drivers in any set at all. Lastly this golf club was just as expensive as others that are much better. If the course was half price I wouldn’t be as disappointed, but with all these issues and paying $90.00 I’ll definitely avoid playing here again.

This is a great 9 hole course. Greens are really good. The layout is a lot of fun. It is pretty open and easy to get around.
