Played her twice in the past month. Great course for a person getting back into golf. The staff is great and the beer is cold. The Marshall is a funny guy and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The wildlife is great to just keep an eye out for the young gator at hole 2. He keeps guard of all the balls in the water hazard.

A great little RV park with many friendly people and the golf course is a lot of fun too. It's a beautiful property. The staff are friendly, the food truck is really good too. You can buy farm fresh eggs from them too. Cool fun fact, there is an airstrip on the property and a few planes housed in a hanger. The cons: dog owners, including the property owner don't follow the 'leash your dog' rules and many don't pick up after their dog. Not an issue for many people but my dog is not friendly and doesn't do well with other dogs approaching her. It's unfortunate, we would have loved to stay for a month and play golf. The owners dog has a major skin problem, the poor thing is in bad shape.

Austin Bayou Golf Course and RV Park is the best facility of its kind I've ever encountered. The RV sites are spacious, the laundry and shower facilities are clean and well maintained. Monthly rental rates are very reasonable, and all the long term tenants are friendly. The golf course has a very friendly clientele, and the management is easy going and highly competent. The golf course grounds crew tends the RV Park as well, so everything green is well trimmed. The Dogleg Cafe serves up very tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for friendly people, short term or long term.

This place is a hidden gem! It is only a 9-hole course but the greens are phenomenal for the price. All the staff is super nice and the food truck out there is delicious and decently priced as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Updated 1/4/26 Made a tee time for 8 a.m. and when I arrived at 7:40 a.m. I was told my tee time was changed to 8:15 a.m. and I was being paired up with a group. That part was okay. I go to the tee box at 8 and the group ahead was a good 4 holes ahead. I've been playing here for months and all of a sudden they wanna enforce the "no single players" rule. 8:15 rolls around and the group I'm supposed to be with is no where to be found. 8:30 rolls around and they let a group of 7 go ahead and tee off. Another rule of theirs is no groups of 6 or more but they don't enforce that one. The starter then goes to pair me up with another group after the 7-some, which put me teeing off at least 8:45 or so. I went and got a refund and at that point they said "well on Sundays we have the Sunday scramble until noon and our online system has been messing up for days". First off, what golf course has a scheduled scramble on Sundays?! They already have a scramble on Wednesday that makes it impossible to play since they allow 6+ to play together. Second off, if your system is down then shut it down. This was one of the more ridiculous experiences I've had at a golf course. Very poor management, either enforce all the rules or don't enforce any or learn something called discretion.

Great course, horrible with scheduling tee times. Will let you schedule knowing there's gunna be a wait for an hour plus. Won't refund even if the wait was longer then an hour will only give you a rain check lol.
