This used to be one of the best public courses in DFW. Meticulously maintained and absolutely beautiful. What in the world happened to it? You should have paid me $53 to play here. Probably the worst course course conditions I’ve ever played. Ever!!! Here is a pic of the fairway on Hole #2. Most of the course was like this. There is no grass. It’s all weeds and mud.

I like this course, but...., This is a low land reclaimed area subject to flooding. A significant amount of the course does flood and is currently showing the effect of our last heavy rain. Greens right now will not hold a line and are very buppy and suffering from large slit on greens and fairways for aerifiction. The price $37 for Senior, will wait a while before I go again., Look for cart path only signs, don't know how I missed them. They did not tell me as I paid green fees. Usually city course have a sign where you pay. Might be a suggestion for them. Cedar Crest and Tennison do this. If the city would spend the money to reroute just some flood waters this would be another gem of a course. I would imagine the greens keeper has a heck of a time keeping this playable.

Gorgeous course. Wide open fairways, with bunkers and water features adding some challenge. It was dead on a Saturday morning at 8:30 - we had no pressure from behind and no waiting on people in front of us. It had rained a few days before and the course was extremely soggy, but the greens were still in good condition. There is a shooting range nearby so you get some noise from that, but it didn’t bother us too much.

Use to play this course all the time back in the day but it’s just too crowded now even on weekdays pace of play is just too slow. Super narrow especially on back 9 so you definitely need to be driving it well. Course wasn’t in the best shape either. Overall not bad but probably won’t be back

Only reason I’m giving this course two stars and not one is because I’ve played here before when it was in much better condition. The course conditions were very disappointing. Several fairways were just full of dirt, mud, and large bare spots with little to no grass. There were also branches, debris, and piles of loose material along the cart paths. The biggest issue was the pace of play. There were multiple fivesomes on the course, including the group directly in front of us, which caused significant delays. Tee times also appeared to be stacked too closely together, and there didn’t seem to be any meaningful effort to manage the flow. I’ve played many other courses in the DFW area at the same price point that are significantly better maintained and better managed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this course.
