Buckhorn has a lot going for it. It's fun and playable, and it's very well maintained. It is also very forgiving in general. From a playability perspective, this is a very good value. The reason for 3 stars is the pace of play is absurd. ~5 hours for a round is common, and we have had to wait 15 min on tee boxes which obviously impacts your round. Everyone is friendly, but there really isn't anyone pushing the pace of play so it becomes much less fun than it should be

Course was in very good condition. I appreciate the fact that you have a starter and a marshal on the course. Great music at the clubhouse. Thank you for squeezing a single without a tee time into a group that was not full. Finally, I purchased a cap after my round and apparently the price was marked lower than it should have been by a couple of dollars. You honored the price marked. Classy!

For the price, this course is unbeatable. Plays easy and the holes are comfortable and scenic. Attitude is great among staff. My go-to 'Hometown' course

This is what I would consider my “home course” as it’s the closest and it’s the one I’ve played the most. I have recently discovered that they allow little kids to play for free which has taken me from not playing for a few months to playing the last two weekends in a row with my little one! I love the course itself. We had some of the nicest greens I’ve played while playing yesterday! As someone who loses their ball all the time, the wide fairways and no houses to hit are right up my alley(still miss fairways though!). The driving range is my favorite around due to being able to hit directly off the grass and the top tracer is really nice to use for FREE! The staff inside the club house has been nothing but extremely kind and helpful to me and my friends! Course is family friendly, good for beginners I would say, easy to navigate, and just beautiful. Nice green fairways, beautiful flowers growing around the course, plenty of challenging holes, and lots of pretty trees to admire! Only thing that I would say detracts from the beauty is the power lines which run through the middle but I have come to appreciate them as a feature on the course to! The #7 par 3 that runs downhill under the lines is my favorite hole to play!

Flew 1,400 miles to visit relatives and play Buckhorn Golf Course. 2nd visit in 10 years and it only got better. Course is in terrific shape (although greens were still sandy.). Pro shop, cart person and Marshall were all friendly and helpful. We’ll be back. 😁⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️
