We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Everything was extremely clean, well-kept, and very comfortable from the moment we arrived. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. Holly came by during our stay for housekeeping, took all of our trash, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Her kindness and attention to detail made our experience even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again!

We booked the stay-and-play package at The Hideout for Easter weekend and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home: Bobby, Janet, Becky, and Mark were genuinely welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The ranch house was spotless and charming, exactly the kind of place you want to settle into for a long weekend. The restaurant and bar team were equally fantastic, and the Easter brunch was absolutely delicious. As for the golf…the course is wonderful. A fun and beautiful layout that made every round a pleasure. This place has the full package: great people, great food, great accommodations, and great golf. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I have attended and hosted numerous golf outing in my sixty five years and NOTHING COMPARES to the professionalism, competence and overall joy that fifty two of us had at THE HIDEOUT, TEXAS. Bobby White, our fabulous PRO, was patient, funny and made the day so special I can’t wait for next May. (My ninth year attending The Hideout for our annual scramble) Putting together a golf tournament and herding fifty-two feral cats was a monumental task but this team, with Courtney the Catering Queen and Bobby the Pro was straight FIRE!!!! This place is a nice location with a lot of opportunities, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it is expensive for what it offers and didn't meet our expectations. It was also memorial day pricing and there's no way this place was worth the $300 it cost. First, the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating and they did help us with a plug for our EV. That wasn't required but it was very nice. The cabins, as noted below, look good but are poorly put together. Doors stick and are hard to close and open correctly. We had a decent dinner on a night with some awesome storms to watch from the main lodge. Afterwards we sat on our patio to enjoy the lightning, and some guests were up at the pavilion playing loud music until 1am. We didn't begrudge that, and went to sleep. We could hear it still but as mentioned there were storms so it wasn't too bad with all the thunder. However when we woke up at 5:30 the music was still going and we could hear the bass through the walls. We called the front desk, but they were closed. On a night of major storms, it's surprising no one could answer the phone. So we emailed them and didn't receive a response. Someone showed up around 6:15, not sure if it was staff or not, and the music stopped for about 5 minutes and then continued. It kept going until 7am. After that, sitting on the patio we had about a half hour of peace before the riding mower came out and leveled the volleyball court. We understand there is a tournament later in the day, but why start with the noise at 7:30? Overall, not worth the money. Even at Holiday Inn there are quiet hours and someone at the front desk.
