Bellville Golf & Recreation Club is a small-town private club that emphasizes community and casual golf. The course is 9 holes, with straightforward fairways and greens, but provides a reliable and peaceful place to play. It's a staple for locals and families who value routine over glitz. Social events and relaxed tee times define the experience. Bellville is Texas golf in its most laid-back form.

Great, members-only course. 9 holes and a lot of turtle shell greens. Overall, it is a lot of fun.

You guys need to make up your mind. You have swichted back and forth three times in the the last forty years from being private to public. I live in Sugar Land which is a good drive from your location but I don't mind a drive for a good golf game. You have a really nice, well kept course, but I never know if I will be allowed to play.

Drove out with daughter for a morning 9 hole. Course was empty but got turned away as they are now private. Website should be updated for correct pricing if they are members only.

Worker accused us of playing over 18 holes because we let a tourney play through, trying to do the right thing and let faster players play through and all of the sudden we are the bad guys. On top of that the greens are awful have more sand than grass... will never come back...

Their website claims “everyone is invited” until you show up and there’s not a single soul on the course but you’re turned down at 7:30AM. Go play somewhere else.
