Both courses have good layouts and are in generally good shape. The pro shop staff is friendly and accommodating. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pace of play was painfully slow (5.5 hour round) and the marshals weren't doing a darn thing about it. I've been playing here for 25 years, and it is getting busier and busier. Great problem to have as a course, but you need to keep the pace of play in the 4.5 hour range.

This review is for the President’s Reserve course. Only 20 minutes from Nashville. The course is in great condition, beautiful, challenging and fun. Sheep and Rams roaming and mining their own business. Received a free round after 4th full priced round. Pretty good deal if you live nearby. And the beer after the round is only a penny per stroke, for real. You just need to show your scorecard. The total beers for our 3 some were less than $3.00. No joke!

This course was beautiful aesthetically! Otters, sheep and rams, deer roaming around the course quietly and the views of each hole were awesome. Staff was courteous but did not see them much out on the actual course and you’re left to golf to yourself, if you like that or not.

While visiting Nashville for a convention at the Gaylord, I was able to golf with my friend Lee R. We golfed the Presidents course and it was in great shape… no sheep on the course, however we did see them get let out on the turn. The golf course overall is challenging. This is one I would recommend for anyone interested in golf.

Don't send people out for 18 holes at 250, and charge full price, when there isn't ample time for a "4-5hr pace" round. There was plenty of light left and we were forced to abandon our round early because of a wedding or something. Travelled from very far away to play and didn't even get to finish. What kind of experience is that?
