Always a fun day at Cheekwood. The course has a great mix of holes. Some short par 3s and some par 4 with narrow fairways. Really beautiful as well. I enjoy this course whenever I get out to Franklin, Tn.

Would give this a zero if I could. Terrible golf course, do not waist your money and go play putt putt. $60 for 18 holes where you get paired up with two different twosomes. Tees boxes may or may not have grass. Wish I would taken photos of the weeds on the greens. It was like playing PLINKO. Will never be back.

Joe DiMaggio once said, "I want to thank the Good Lord for making me a Yankee." I say, "I want to thank the Good Lord for Cheekwood Golf Course." This place is what heaven looks like. I would highly suggest you go here if you want to have a pleasurable and peaceful 9 holes. The rates and atmosphere are great, and the folks that keep this place running make it even better. Once you step foot onto this course, all your worries go to rest.

Would give 0/5 if possible. Worst golf course in TN, maybe the country... hell maybe the world. Borderline shameful conditions. Sitting in our cart 5 mins before our tee time and the starter told us to "be on time next time". Every bunker overgrown. Fairways look like a goat farm and greens have gashes with every cup overgrown. Might as well level the place and start over. New management required. Franklin resident and will never be back.

The greens are horrible. Weeds growing everywhere. Imagine putting with hundreds of scattered pebbles. Tee boxes are non existent, and sometimes nicer than the greens. Also, I’m from out of town so i do not bring my own clubs. My friend and I share his clubs, and have played this course many times before. Staff was rude and doubled down on the new rule of every player having a set of clubs (they make you rent a set for around $50), claiming it’s for peace of play. Every hole was backed up. And i had to get used to the rental clubs, so that didn’t help the peace of play either. The groundskeepers did not care about anyone teeing off, so you had to waste even more time waiting for them to move out of play. Only thing this course has going for them is being one of the only few public courses in the area.
