Must play. I was at McLemore and I was lucky enough to grab a round here. The place is really scenic - it cannot be captured in photographs. The course was in superb condition and challenging. Both nines end in par 3's which might be weird if they weren't two of the most difficult and unique par 3's. Some complain about the fact that four holes on the back nine run back and forth and are therefore not interesting. In reality, they are tight, tree-lined affairs and all have very different and difficult green complexes. The best part of this course are the people. Everyone we met, including the Head Pro Bruce Etter, was happy to see us and wanted to make sure we were enjoying a course they are justifiably proud of.

Such a fantastic old Donald Ross classic. This course represents the so well with the Tennessee River, the Chattanooga Choo Choo logo, the tugboats on the water adjacent to the course in grand clubhouse overlooking it all. The first tee box has a phenomenal opening shot. The par threes out here are fantastic as well as a couple short par-4s however, the highlight by far is the two finishing holes that are extraordinary.

Never been here since I have no interest in golf or a club but, just enjoy the grounds that this has been built on. The morning views are always so very calming.

What a delightful place. The staff and members were so welcoming to us guests. The course was in fantastic shape and has some amazing architecture.

Great golf course. Extremely well maintained. I always have to play it as par 70 and it’s difficult from the tips. Beautiful place.
