The Governors Club is big, bold, and not pretending to be anything else. The course is tough but fair, the homes around it are… let’s just say doing well, and the whole vibe leans a little more “statement” than subtle. I had a package that had to be delivered to a resident there and the security lady wanted to keep my id while on their property which is illegal. This is such a luxury club and I just don’t get how they get away with such things. I even talked to the supervisor and they kept arguing with me saying they DID NOT HAVE MY ID (clearly they did, I ended up getting it back) read the reviews, this is not the first time this happens

I have been a member for a few years and probably wouldn’t recommend the club. The course is okay but the management is very slow and unresponsive. They are owned by Kemper management with little accountability to the membership. Very difficult to simply get emails or phone calls returned.

This place is amazing!! They have all the amenities you can imagine. The staff are friendly to the max going out of their way to ensure your comfort and satiafaction are met. They are true servants leaders!! The place is kept perfectly clean and they are happy to help with any and all issues you may have. The front gate staff was even kind enough to allow me to use their bathroom before I had an accident in my car. Thank you for giving me tips on how to get my EV charged up and where I can find near by EV chargers before I bricked my car on the side of the road.

Giving it 5 stars, but considering the houses and the neighborhood was expecting more. The range needs some work. The course was pretty basic, but makes you use all clubs in the bag. The greens were pure and quick. The rough was penalizing. Overall, it was fairly forgiving off the tee. The greens were very firm, anything past the hole had no chance. Solid clubhouse and bar.
