I am gonna start off with the course is beautiful. The weekend that we had gone though we had gotten a lot of rain and we were not allowed to use carts because of standing water. Understandable. Here I had already paid for 2 people for a round of 18 and a cart. My form of payment had an expiration date of that day and the pro told me that from her boss they absolutely would not extend it out any longer. She did try one day but let me know who doesn't have to work on a Monday. Even for just one more week for me to be able to finally play the entire course. Last time we played 2 holes were under construction. So we took off walking so that we didn't waste the money spent on it. Had we not lived 45 minutes away then maybe it would have been easier for us to play a different day before then. Now let me tell you that walking with cart bags and no pull cart up some of those hills were horrible but we at least got 9 holes walked. And I have still not gotten to play this entire course.

Guys golf trip up Texas. Had heard good things but loved the course. Great layout….solid conditions. The better of the two we played on the trip. Greens were perfect. Make sure you grab lunch or dinner post round at the grill. Was first rate way to wind down post round. The GPS mowers were an added activity to watch cut the grass…very cool.

This golf destination is an incredible challenge for any golfer. Beautiful views and unique angles for shots will create wonderful memories that make you want to play multiple rounds! Definitely a must if in the Blackhills of South Dakota!!!!

If you can get a tee time, you have play golf here. I live in Dallas and play a good bit of golf. All over the country. Was up here, staying for a few days with buddies, a couple had been here before, and this time played golf at the course. Pace of play was excellent, great staff (Indiana Jones is the pro - not kidding - and SHE goes by Indy - yes a very cool head pro, lady, named Indiana Jones), cool features and, for me (a 13 index) a good balance of challenge (the par 5 17th required precision and water and rock hazards, including a picture of this hole, and reward. The course was fair to the golfer and excellent in condition and presentation. I'm coming back. Reasonably priced, maybe even underpriced given the quality of the new club house, clean reliable carts, and wow - the Canyon Grille Restaurant next door - make time to sit outside after your round to get a beer and a meal. Pro shop had some of the coolest gear I've seen - anywhere, When I was leaving town, at the RAP airport, bought breakfast and talked to the restaurant manager - asked my what my group was in town doing - golf - where? - Boulder Canyon - she said it's the best golf course in 200 miles and we were lucky to play there.

Had the opportunity for a trip to the Black Hills this past week. One of the highlights of the trip was playing golf at Boulder Canyon Golf Club. The course is beautiful and well maintained. It also has some very interesting holes that my whole group enjoyed immensely. The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend.
