"North Shore" is small-town South Dakota golf in its purest form. The routing is straightforward, letting the wind do much of the defense on otherwise generous fairways. Greens tend to be small and slightly crowned, so short-iron accuracy matters more than power. It's easy to walk and plays quickly, making it ideal for evening rounds. Conditioning focuses on playable fairways and honest, medium-speed greens rather than tournament firmness or tricked-up setups.
