A classic small-town nine, Alcester Golf Club rewards accuracy over brute force. The walkable routing plays across gentle prairie contours with tidy, raised greens that ask for precise wedges. Trees frame several fairways but there's ample room off the tee, making it friendly for newer players while still interesting for better ones who want to chase birdies. Wind is a frequent companion here, so club selection matters more than you think. A recently updated clubhouse gives the course a welcoming hub after the round, rounding out a relaxed, value-forward experience.

What a fantastic experience overall. I had never visited the club before, but that didn't deter the staff from being incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. My grandkids really enjoyed the golf camp, and it was a truly great experience. The club itself is excellent, and the employees were fantastic.
