Set on a historic private estate near Yemassee, Cherokee Plantation is among South Carolina's most exclusive clubs. Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie shaped a classically influenced course with understated strategy and natural contours. The walkable routing emphasizes angles into subtly contoured greens. Water and native areas appear selectively, rewarding thoughtful positioning. A secluded practice range complements the quiet, limited-play ethos.
