Description

Set near Lake Hartwell in the foothills, Chickasaw Point blends gentle elevation change with tree-lined holes and a memorable finishing trio. Parker Gibson's design is playable yet asks for accuracy into subtly defended greens. A driving range and practice areas make it convenient for tuning up before the round. The setting and routing make it one of Oconee County's most scenic public options.

What a fun course to play everyone was so nice. Could not have asked for a better day on the golf course. Everything was in great shape. The views were amazing. It was difficult but not too difficult greens were fast and beautiful. Hope we can come back again one day.

Challenging course. It's not the longest but demands accurate shots to find the fairways. Tricky undulating greens put a premium on GIR. I will definitely play again.

Beautiful place. Not overly enthusiastic about the food. The wings are Huge. But all 12 of them were bright pink and undercooked. $23 for raw food doesn't entice me. The place is realy pretty and seemed to be quiet busy. The photos shown are not of eaten wings. They were torn apart by hand to show the raw centers.

Beautiful course. If you take a minute to look at the views you will be impressed. The greens are the best kept in the area. There are a few blind shots off the tee box that will make this a fun round. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have free course guides in the pro shop to help first time players. We enjoyed the Overlook Restaurant after our round with cold beer and good food.

Well, gather 'round, folks, and let me tell you about my recent adventure at Chickasaw Point Golf Club! Now, I’m no Tiger Woods, but this place had me feeling like a pro—more like a “pro-fessional” at finding the sand traps! You see, this course is nestled in the beautiful heart of South Carolina, and let me tell ya, it’s as picturesque as a postcard from a retirement home—lots of green, some water, and a couple of deer that looked like they were ready for their own golf game! As I pulled up, I couldn’t help but think, “This is gonna be a hole-in-one kind of day!” Spoiler alert: It wasn’t. The clubhouse welcomes you with open arms, and I half-expected to see a giant slice of apple pie waiting for me. Instead, I found a friendly staff that treated me like I was the king of the greens—if only my golf game matched that royal treatment! Now, let’s talk about the course itself. It’s a par 72, which is a fancy way of saying it’s got more twists and turns than my Uncle Larry after he eats too much chili. Every hole is a new adventure, and if you’re not careful, you might just end up in the water—trust me, I did! The views? Stunning! I mean, if you’re into scenic landscapes that make you question whether you’re in a golf course or a Hallmark movie. The real kicker? The 19th hole! After a round of golf that was about as smooth as my dance moves at a wedding, I stumbled into the clubhouse and treated myself to a cold drink. They say a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work, and boy, was that true! So, if you’re looking for a place to swing clubs, share some dad jokes, and maybe even snag a hole-in-one (or two… or three), Chickasaw Point Golf Club is your spot! Just remember: Keep your eye on the ball and your sense of humor ready! Swing on, my friends!
