RangeDriving Range

Set in St. Matthews, Calhoun Hills is a community course routed among pines and gently rolling terrain. The layout attributed to Ellis Maples favors accurate tee shots to find corridors and approach angles into modestly sized greens. It's a straightforward, walkable track with value-minded fees and a friendly vibe. A driving range and putting green let players loosen up before the round. Expect more emphasis on placement than elevation drama.

Feel Robbed. Was not told they were doing any work on the course. Hole 15 has a dirt berm around it, so if you don’t hit the green well lol have fun. Hole 16 was unplayable. They also freshly punched and recanted the greens. Also want you to pay for range balls. 🤣. Yall need to pay me to play here. Ridiculous.

Had a great time. The course was in good shape especially for the drought we've had. The staff was nice and the carts looked fairly new with GPS. Definitely well worth the trip from Charleston to play a relaxing round of golf.

Good layout. Price is fair for what the course is. Fairways and greens a little rough. Only played 9.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite courses. Open layout with hills. Just challenging enough without being punished for missing the fairway. Price is right and the chilli dogs are amazing!!

And friend and I decided to go and play nine holes over at Calhoun Hills and we had a fantastic time. The course seemed kind of busy but there wasn't a lot of people in our way and there wasn't a lot of people reading on our neck. The greens were super fast. And it made this course actually very challenging. I went to Crowfield and Goose Creek recently and it was absolutely horrific. I was super happy at Calhoun Hills.
