Where to start? Best course I have ever played, we played Dec 18th. Service was 1st class, course is truly amazing and to top it all off- my daughter had a Hole in one on the 16th hole (160 yard par 3) Don’t have enough great words to say about this wonderful golf course!!!

Absolutely in my top 5 of favorite courses played! This was so fun (and forgiving, thank you wide fairways) and the staff was super nice and knowledgeable. The food was really good too. I just wish they had a better locker room. They don't offer any towels or amenities for the showers and the bathroom is very outdated. Outside of that, this place is fantastic.

Waste bunkers, oh so many waste bunkers, and water await errant shots on this beautiful designed golf course. If you can avoid those, the fairways will reward you with a great lie and a chance at the narrow greens. For a lowland area, it has some Elevation changes and multi-tiered greens that will make you think twice about what club/shot you need to play. Some of the greens are as many as 3 clubs deep, be prepared. An absolute "must play" if you are in Myrtle Beach... don't miss out!

Have played the course twice, a year apart. This last January 2026 was not great on several fronts that I'm noting here. However, the layout is great...it really is. Issues for January 2026: The greens for a BIG event (CGA final weekend) were NOT great. Two different kinds of grasses growing at different rates made true puts nearly impossible. Needed a cut and roll that didn't happen. Something fixable. But even worse for me is that the golf cart computer seemed like an AI bot gone wrong--that it wanted our attention the entire freaking round. Literally EVERY HOLE it was flashing a warning about railroad ties being slippery, and the coup de grace was the attached image near hole 16. Geez...classy. Recommendation, True Blue, have folks sign a railroad tie waiver before they start and/or allow your on-cart computer to turn sound off. I felt harassed and VERY distracted. NOT FUN. Hoping it'll be better in January 2027...I'll update my review if it is.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The course was in great shape, with wide fairways that let you swing freely and the signature Mike Strantz greens and sight lines that keep every hole interesting and fun. Challenging without being punishing, and just a blast to play. The golf shop staff were friendly and attentive, and playing with a member who hosted made the experience even better. Everything ran smoothly and felt well managed. Strongly recommend True Blue if you’re playing Myrtle Beach. This is a course you’ll want to come back to.
