After my sister had her wedding reception here, I knew I wanted an outdoor space and Caledonia was the absolute best choice! The space itself was stunning—nothing beats the views of the low country. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous everything looked, and it felt so magical the entire evening. Special shoutout to Judy, the wedding coordinator at Caledonia. She is kind, thoughtful, easy to work with, and an absolute gem! We’ll always cherish the memories we made here. It was the perfect place to celebrate the beginning of our lives together.

A must play! Had an amazing time at this strantz course. Such a beautiful place to just stop and take in the beauty of this place and how it was designed. I will definitely be back and bringing my friends and mention this place to anyone going to MB 10/10 course was in fantastic shape for beginning of December

The course was amazing and in excellent shape. The fairways were great and the greens were fast. There were some occasional patches of dying grass around a couple of greens, but nothing I was concerned with. Bottom line I did love the course and wanted to give the course five stars, but several things held me back. First, there’s no driving range and you have to drive to True Blue to warm up. I feel like this should have been communicated in advance. As it was a pain unpacking your clubs and then having to pack them back up and drive to True Blue. Second, the course was jammed pack. My round took 5 hours on a Friday with a 1PM tee time. Third, while the course was beautiful and in excellent shape, a lot of the holes felt like Deja Vu and were very similar. Finishing on the 18th hole made this less of an issue, as the 18th is a truly iconic finishing hole. Finally, the restaurant closes at 3PM. So, don’t expect to grab dinner after an afternoon round.

This is going to be a bit of a long post but worth the read. My wife and I got married here on October 11th, 2024. We live in Asheville, North Carolina and we’re supposed to get married at a different venue in Asheville. Of course, Mother Nature had different plans for us because Tropical Storm Helene came in and decimated our area. We were forced to leave because we didn’t have clean water, food, electricity, or really any of the essentials. We evacuated to where my family lived in Myrtle Beach. My wife and I were devastated that, what we thought was going to be our dream wedding, was completely ruined. We had no plan or any idea of what we were going to do. Our wedding planner reached out to Caledonia and explained our situation, and without any hesitation they offered us this venue. Turns out this is exactly the place we should have been from the start. I don’t even believe I could articulate the words to explain how beautiful this place is. The kindness and compassion they showed us when we’re already dealing with so much stress couldn’t have been more appreciated. If you look at the pictures, you’ll see how absolutely stunning this place is. If you are thinking of a place to have your wedding, look no further. This is the place for you. I would also like to write a hand written letter to whoever is responsible for the decision of letting us host our wedding here. If whoever reads this could let me know who to address it to. Once again, thank you so much to Caledonia for allowing us the opportunity to be at their incredible venue.

My all time favorite golf course, a surreal and almost magical place. Highly recommend to go play when the weather is good, you will not be disappointed! Good luck on 18 !!
