Such an exceptional piece of property! from the moment you go through and bypass Callawassie and arrive to an area with a statue of a monk adorned by 100-year-old live oaks. then to your left the same through a deep corridor in which Tabby ruins exist in peeps of a golf course with water behind it! as we enter the club superb hospitality from the minute we get there until the minute we leave. Literally The only group on the golf course with the exception of a single we saw at one point briefly. The only sounds were of birds and gunshots from probably an adjacent Hunt club. The developers did a tremendous job not only keeping the homes almost unnoticed from the course but the same from the drive-in which was superb in itself. The golf course is exceptional with lots of sand and waste areas as well as title Marsh with beautiful views of the rivers. The Holes that stood out to me. the most were number nine, 16, the signature hole 17. which is a make or break to most people's round and the finishing hole. With unparalleled privacy and serenity this nature preserve and golf course honestly are the best in the area! Arnold Palmer did a tremendous job here! The residents that inhabit this community and members of the Spring Island Club really have a true Gem. Look Forward to getting the opportunity to come back.
