Greens were sanded so balls skided vs. rolled. The fairways were a mixed bag with many dried out patches and one that looked it was used as a dirt bike trail - pic below. The tee boxes and bunkers were in good shape. The back 9 had a few memorable holes. However, the front 9 was repetitive with many holes similar in length and layout from the white tees. Service in the shop and on the course was friendly and good. Pricing is reasonable for the area. Arcadian Shores is a decent first round if playing several rounds on holiday, it just won’t be the most memorable.

This was my first time playing golf at Myrtle Beach. I picked the course at random. I was not disappointed! The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. I was grouped with another gentleman and a couple. We started right on time and moved through the course at a good pace. Considering the snow and cold weather a few weeks ago, the course was in good shape. I really enjoyed the round!

Played 6/28/26 with my granddaughter. The course was in great shape, except for the tee boxes. Hole #13 is a really nice hole. (Tap in Bogie) The staff were great! We will be back

Do yourself a favor, don’t spend anytime here! I understand it’s hot, is basic knowledge that you water. Every tee box is dead and burnt. No grass and all dirt and grass seed. Clubhouse staff great! Cold drinks ! Cart girl was very nice and pleasant. Our tee time was 12:55, the starter comes to the driving range at 12:25 “it be great if you guys could tee off now” I left 1/2 my range balls and we went to 1, to our surprise, group on the Tee box, group in the fairway, group on the green. It took 45 mins to play first 3 holes. We made the turn, for drinks and hotdog, no issues. We are hitting in 14 and I took my first mulligan of the day and an old man starter comes up angrily “you need to pick up the paste” your behind! I look shocked as he was loudly yelling at us. No one in sight. Not on the green of 13 or the fairway that I could see. Or anyone in front of us. I look at my watch to see we were on 2:45pm and we tee’d off at 12:35. That’s a pretty good pace of play for having 45 mins on The 1st 3 holes. After he scuttled off I hit over the water and had a few choice loudly words for him. I was done with the $79 round, no fairways, no tee boxes, and burnt course conditions. Trust me even tho our condo is across the street, we will never play here again.

Really enjoyed playing at this course while on vacation. I was concerned with the price a little but this course looks very well maintained and very little "ground under repair" areas. For me this course played very long and and was wide open. Very friendly staff that is willing to help with anything even throughout your round you will have staff checking in on you. Also. Offers a cart service to keep you hydrated during your round. No alcohol before 10 and no personal coolers.
