Came to the coarse for a family and friend game and right away when arriving associate was not in a good mood for asking for a extra cart even I knew I would have to pay for due to a extra rider (6yo). A attitude was give from Ron automatically and was upset. As I told him he needs to chill out calmly. A Friend that was playing with was doing the same with the extra due to have 2 little one with his wife. Attitude was given by Ron again due to the extra cart. When leave was addressed to play 4 ahead and 2 behind to keep pace of play after starting we swapped and I would hit the the wife would hit the next shot and same for the other couple to keep pace. Kept seeing Ron roaming the coarse stalking us watching. After 3rd time of seeing him he came and said I have rain checks for you and you need to leave after this hole and blamed it on pace of play as we pointed to the players on the tee box waiting for the people in front of them I laughed and said we’re keeping up look then he turned it around and said was now the kids are running around but our kids never left the carts beside 1 time on cart path to get a sandwich From the cart 3 yards away. After explaining to him that this isn’t right and your not being truthful he didn’t like that and told me to leave as my buddy talks to him and is de-escalating the situation that him having a attitude with all of us since arrival. I said boo-hoo about leaving after a minute or two of him talking to my friend finally as his wife was leaving with their kids he decided to leave and not come around anymore. I understand if we did not keep up with pace of play, had obnoxious kids, Kids running around on the green or even on the course. This would be justifiable to tell someone leave. But none of this was going on. Such a beautiful course that was ruined by associates that are entitled to a little authority.

Overall the course is nice, greens, fairways, paths are kept clean. Nature was kept up well. It was a certain staff individual and maybe the neighborhood that made it miserable. Myself, my wife, and our 2 boys 3yrs, and the youngest 8 months met with 2 families, one of which had a 6yr old daughter, to go golfing here for the first time together. I reserved a 1pm for 4/26/26 and 1:08pm one spot being 2some the other 4some. Didn't see anything online about no kids allowed, nothing on their rule board posted outside about no kids. However I did notice the rule about 2 riders per cart. So I needed to rent an extra cart so myself and son 3yr could ride together. Then my wife and our 8 month could ride together. Upon arrival at register this individual had a little bit of an attitude when I tried explaining why I needed a second cart, had trouble adding a $12 charge for the 2nd cart so just gave it to us for free. Mind you our kids were in the pro shop while we payed. I thanked him payed for me and my wife and one cart and time went on. Well fast forward to maybe hole 6 and he drives by on a cart and says we need to split up to groups of 2 then 4. I proceeded to try to explain why we were golfing together (since we had an 8 month old he had to be held at all times) so 3 of us were alternating shots basically golfing as one golfer. However before I could explain that he had drove off a distance and parked to watch us. We carried on irritated. We let one 3some group and one 2some group play through past us so we weren't holding anyone up. Get to about hole 10 or 11, 4 adults myself included are walking off the green to our carts where my wife, my friend's wife and our kids are sitting quietly, to go to the next hole WHERE THE GROUP IN FRONT OF US JUST FINISHED TEEING OFF. Well this same individual pulls up before we get to our carts. He proceeds to tell us," Y'all are gonna have to leave, y'all are breaking course rules, here's a rain check for y'all to come back another time." I asked how are we breaking course rules? He states, "y'all aren't playing 2some then 4some further back, we don't typically allow kids but let it slide earlier. We're getting phone calls from members you know people who live here that y'all are playing 6 and kids running everywhere." Our kids didn't get off the carts but twice and it was to get snacks from the other cart then go right back. They weren't being loud or yelling or crying. Then I proceeded to explain what I tried to earlier about having to alternate shots. Between 3 people bc the 8 month old and didn't want to take forever. My friend got upset with him and tempers flared For minute until myself and a mutual friend stepped in and I asked "what can we do to keep up with your standards?" He said you need to be waiting to tee off by the tee box by the time the group in front is done teeing off. I proceeded to ask how do you expect a 4some to keep up with a 3some or 2some. Were letting people play through that catch up to us. Only one 2some and one 3some passed us the whole day. One of which was bc he stopped us to try and get us to leave. I had enough and kindly went to accept the rain checks and said it's ok we'll go. He then said No no it's ok as long as your keeping up pace of play. (Which we were doing already) My friend who had gotten upset earlier came back into conversation and they apologized to each other. The group that passed us after the individual tried to boot us was nice and tried to make us feel better saying "don't let the members and staff ruffle your feathers, y'all have fun." If it wasn't for him we all would've probably left early. My wife and kids did leave early after that since my kids were appearantly unwelcomed. If we were told that from the beginning we could've just went somewhere to do something else together. Again nothing online about no kids allowed or on rule board posted up front. And $52 for a golfer that maybe hit a ball 6 times. Overall disappointed in the experience I was expecting.

Thoroughly enjoyed this track! It's a little off the beaten path so we weren't sure what to expect but ultimately were quite pleased. Greens rolling quick in early April, course very well-maintained. Rock on Wyboo 🤘 Thanks for doing it right!

Played this course on 4-3 thru Lake Marion Golf package. Do Not, i repeat do not play. Course was in almost unplayable condition. Terrible conditions. Greens (if you wanna call them that) were disgusting (no grass, spotty and bumpy as hell, fairways were bare, rough was just as bad. Sorry cannot recommend to play.
