I've played there twice now and have absolutely loved it. I can't recall the gentleman's name, but he was working the pro shop at around noon on Monday, 6/22. He is always very welcoming and helpful. Sandy, who was working the bar/food area was so wonderful. She's very upbeat and positive, and had great stories to share. Would recommend on staff alone. The course is well kept, and very low pressure. I'm excited to book my next tee time.

Very good and challenging course, lots of water and trees so you need to be accurate. Overall very fun to play and got escorted by some wild turkeys on the green of hole 16.

We had a great time at Crown Park Golf Club playing as a family. The course is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the layout of the course with a beautiful mix of grass, ponds, creeks, and tree line. No neighborhood next to the course makes the whole experience surrounded by nature, which is rare in the area. Highly recommended for families visiting Myrtle Beach.

The course is decent and typically has good greens and maintenance, but here is the problem - 1. The staff is rude and non educated on pace of play and the etiquette of golf. They won't unload your bag at the drop, they dont communicate tee times and send players out on time/ with correct grouping, and it's an overall free for all at the carts. 2. They will let 30 man groups out in the middle of the day when they are fully booked without the regard for anyone's time - I've played more 5 plus hour rounds here than anywhere else. 3. No marshall - no pace of play motivator or indications. Tins of cart path only days if it rains for two seconds and the course drainage is awful, but somehow the greens are decent. They need to allocate some funds to drainage and upgrade their staffing for a better experience. 4. In the winter they demand carts to be in by 5, although the sun goes down at 6 because they want to leave. That's not a golf course mentality for anyone who plays often. The staff shouldn't dictate the closing time because they want to leave - find a younger and more motivated team. The team members need some new employees. I've golfed here about 20 times and the experience is worse and worse. I will never return. Stay away and go enjoy your courses nearby if you're on HWY 9.

First time playing Crown Park. From the road, the course looked like it was in good condition. Once we got on the course, I couldn’t get finished fast enough. It’s like the maintenance crew has been on vacation for a month. The only reason I gave it one star is for the greens as they are just decent enough to putt on. As for the tee boxes, fairways and rough, blow it up and start over! The bunkers haven’t been raked in weeks and most were muddy. I don’t recommend playing here if you’re looking for a nice course to play. I hope they are able to turn it around.
