Despite having a couple temporary greens painted on the fairway (which we were told about in advance), the course was good. It’s hilly and challenging, but beautiful. Prices were reasonable and staff were helpful.

Had a great time with my father in law. Course was in decent shape. It had rained the day before so the course was soaked and the sand traps were really bad. Other than that, I have no complaints. Really good layout and everyone that I ran into that worked there was really nice. Course is very open. I only lost 1 ball and that's because it went into the water. Would play here again. Paid $30 to walk on a Saturday at 1:30.

The clubhouse clubhouse cashier was rude and unhelpful. He seemed either bored or upset with being there. This was our first visit to this course. He didn't give us any direction on where or how to get the cart. We had to ask someone else how to get to the first tee. We weren't allowed to take the cart off the cart path, and the cart shut off when we tried. Tee boxes are very close to the greens, which is dangerous. It's a nice course, but certainly not worth the prices they charge. We've played more enjoyable courses for less money, so we'll stick with those.

Lancaster golf club was in very nice shape when I played in early June. It's predominantly flat layout makes it an easy walking course.

NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY!!!!!! 2nd time ive ever played golf wanted to play with my brother inlaw and my dad, who didnt play but was told we needed 3 people, so I paid full price for hin to ride around in the cart, got MEAN MUGGED at the first T box by members and the ranger guy, finished front 9 stopped to use the bathroom and get a Gatorade and the gentlemen behind the counter scolded me for not keeping up pace. FIRST TIME ANYONE MENTIONED A PACE TO ME!!! If youre new to golfing DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Most unwelcoming bunch of snobs ive ever meant. Dont over book your Tee times. Not everyone plays religiously. I was just trying to get into the sport. NEVER AGAIN! Go some where else. Got paired with a random member, he was a great guy and the only saving grace to the day. Spent a good bit of money for me and my dad to play, dad didnt play and I skipped 3 holes so I wouldn't get fussed at anymore.
