This was one of the best golf experiences I have had. Yes, it’s expensive, but I found it to be worth the price at the end of the day. First off, we got lucky and the place was empty so it felt like we had the course all to ourselves. We could play at a comfortable pace and take in the gorgeous scenery. The course itself was beautifully maintained, a couple of tee boxes could use some work but the fairways and greens didn’t have a blade out of place. I especially loved the signature holes 9, 14-15, and 18 they were such unique designs. The service and people were first class, we felt welcomed and almost like the staff was honored that we had chosen to play their club it truly was amazing hospitality. From Patrick at the bag drop holding our suitcases all day, to Mike the starter giving us great tips before we teed off for the day and the whole clubhouse staff was tremendously kind and gracious. Maybe we got lucky with the day we chose to play as far as weather and it being slow on a Sunday but from start to finish our whole group kept mentioning how great of a day and course it was

Beautiful course from tee to green. Friendly staff. Lots of water so bring plenty of balls. Watch out for gators.

The course was in great shape. A few tight fairways, plenty of water hazards and spectators (wildlife) I wish the carts had some updates as far as screens with course info, they seem very dated for a nice course. Also the cart girl didnt take tap to pay (cash only) had to wait for the turn to get drinks because of that. Overall a good course with nice views.

Checking in was handled very efficient and professional. Make sure you have a few minutes to peruse the pro shop as there are plenty of itsms you are going to want to take the time to see. The course is in great condition and yhe greens roll very true. The pace of play is great and the on course staff is friendly when they make their rounds. Make sure you play the correct tees, because there are.a few holes that might be out of reach if you don't. For the most part, the course is very forgiving, but water is in play on practically every hole. The weather was perfect and even a little breezy, but it made the experience a fun challenge. There is so much wildlife on the course. Probably an alligator in every pond! I cannot wait to return to play the other courses at Kiawah.
